Await.
You get over one-too fall for another, your heart screams and your brain protests, your palms sweat and knees bounce, your fingers hover over the keys while your eyes already can see the words your going to say, your mouth moves but no sound comes out-and you just want to go away, away to a place where nothing matters. A place where the heart doest flutter at the mere mention of his name, where the other girl on his arm can't cause you any pain. A place just for you and brain-a place to escape and seek refrain-to refrain and contain those feelings of which you are unsure, until that day when you can say more.
So you bite your lip and wait, you set aside the keys that await and you bow your heart in quiet-and drift to that place.
