After school Spencer and I did end up going to his therapy.

When we got there we waited outside the door.

He was a little shaky.

I think it was because I was coming to his session.

His hand was holding mine ever so tightly.

He looked over at me.

"You ready?" He asked.

I smiled and nodded my head.

He smiled back.

Then opened the door.

Revealing the big room.

The big room where he pours out his feelings out.

In the room sat a lady.

She seemed nice and looked around my mom's again.

She had brown hair that covered the top of her black dress.

She looked over at us and smiled.

"I see we have company today" She said.

Spencer and I both laughed.

Then sat down next to each other on the couch.

"Her name's Jane" Spencer said.

The lady smiled and offered her hand.

"Hi Jane, I'm Dr. Silvie, Spencer's therapist"

I smiled and took her hand.

"Hi" I replied.

She smiled.

Then we both pulled our hands away.

And mine was quickly grabbed by Spencer once again.

I looked up at him and he looked down on me.

We both smiled at each other.

"Aww" Dr. Silvie said.

Spencer and I both laughed again.

Then looked over at her.

"Is she you're special someone?" Dr. Silvie asked Spencer.

He chuckled.

"Well she is a someone and she's very special to me so yea I guess" He replied.

I blushed.

He just admitted to me being his special someone.

I feel so...special!

"So why'd you decide to bring her for this session?" Dr. Silvie asked.

"Well turns out she's going through the same stuff I am" He answered.

Dr. Silvie looked over at me.

"The cutting or the heartbreak?" She asked.

I chuckled.

"Both actually" I replied.

She smiled.

"Looks like we've got a lot of talking to do" She said.

I laughed.

"Yeah" I said.

"Who would you like me to start with first?" She asked.

I turned to Spencer.

"Umm well I guess Spencer could go first" I said.

Dr. Silvie looked over at Spencer.

"And you're alright about talking about this in front of Jane?"

He quickly nodded his head.

"Yea it's cool" He replied.

She smiled.

Then took out her pen and a clipboard with paper on it.

Probably ready to start the session and take notes.

"So how's the cutting been?" She asked.

He shook his head.

"Don't do it anymore" He replied.

She nodded her head.

"Have you had thoughts about cutting?" She asked.

"Well not anymore" He responded.

"Not anymore? When did it stop?" She asked.

He smiled.

Then looked over at me.

"When I met Jane" He answered.

I giggled.

He winked at me and tapped my nose.

Then we both looked over at Dr. Silvie who was writing this all down.

"And what exactly do you see Jane as to you?" She asked.

Spencer chuckled and looked down.

His dark black hair covering his eyes.

"I see her as my friend, companion, lover, best friend, girlfriend, and most of all I see her as my hope. Just when I look her in the eyes I know everything's going to be alright"

I smiled.

Then looked down.

No boy has ever felt this way about me.

Austin's love was all fake but with Spencer it felt so real.

Yet unreal.

This felt like a dream.

A very beautiful dream where I get the perfect guy to love me for who I am.

We just met but it feels like we've known each other forever.

We can relate to each other so well it was amazing.

"So I'm guessing you're officially over Julie now?" Dr. Silvie asked Spencer.

He chuckled.

"Definitely" He replied.

I smiled.

He really was over Julie and instead he was falling for me.

"I knew you would come along" She said.

I laughed.

Then looked up at her.

She looked over at me.

"You wouldn't believe...he used to come in my office crying all the time"

I smiled.

"You don't have to tell her that" Spencer mumbled through his teeth.

I laughed.

Then looked over at him.

"You know I won't judge you, babe" I said.

He chuckled.

Did I really just call him babe?

Wow.

It just slipped right out my mouth.

"So Jane I guess it's your turn" Dr. Silvie said.

I looked over at her.

I was kind of worried.

You know about the questions she'd ask me.

I didn't mind talking about the Austin thing but the cutting thing it was on a whole other level.

It was just personal.

I mean think about it.

I've been cutting myself.

Self-harming myself.

It was one of the worst things a teenager could do and I kept doing it.

"So when did the cutting first start?" Dr. Silvie asked.

Spencer looked over at me.

Waiting for my response.

I bit my lip and thought about it.

"Well it was a few weeks after my dad died" I relied.

"And when did your dad die?" She asked.

"A few years ago" I replied.

She nodded her head while Spencer couldn't keep his eyes off me.

Probably wondering why I never told him about my dad.

My dad's death is not usually something I like to talk about.

"Are you still grieving?" Dr. Silvie asked.

I thought about it.

Was I still grieving?

Was I over my dad's death.

Deep inside I could never forget him.

I mean how could I?

"A little" I responded.

She nodded her head.

"And how about this heartbreak?" She asked.

I sighed.

Thinking about it again.

It just felt like I forgot everything, but it was still there and will always be there.

"I was in love with my best friend, Austin for the longest time, but he had a girlfriend, Melanie. She's everything I'm not. Pretty, popular and most of all she had Austin..." I paused.

"So would you say that you were jealous of Melanie?" Dr. Silvie asked.

I looked down at the carpet floor.

"Of course, but then she cheated on him and then I became the rebound girl" I said with a slight chuckle.

I laugh but it's not funny at all.

I don't know I guess now that I'm saying all of this out loud I'm really realizing how much pain I've gone through.

"How did you feel when that happened?" Dr. Silvie asked.

"I guess I felt good. I mean I should've I finally had Austin as my boyfriend" I replied.

I could see her smile from the corner of my eye, but Spencer seemed a little annoyed.

Not by me of course, but by my whole Austin situation.

"But then what went wrong?" Dr. Silvie asked.

"He got back with Melanie" I answered.

She sighed.

"And he just left you?" She asked.

I sighed again.

Feeling a tear drop fall from my eye.

I quickly wiped it away.

I don't want pity.

I don't want them feeling sorry for me.

"No, he kept seeing me actually, he kept seeing us both" I replied.

Dr. Silvie sighed.

"I see"

Another tear drop fell.

"I felt so used, like nothing. I was just the other girl he could go to when Melanie was cheating or if he wanted to have a little fun with me he would. I let him push me around, walk all over me..." I paused again.

Letting more tears fall from my eyes.

I looked up at Dr. Silvie.

My eyes probably flooded with tears.

"Can I just excuse myself for one moment" I said.

She smiled.

"Go ahead"

I quickly got up and ran out the room.

I just stood there in the hallway crying.

My back against the wall.

Seconds later the door opened.

Spencer coming out looking for me.

He saw me and sighed.

Then brought his body close to mine.

His hand caressing my cheek.

"I didn't know you were hurting this bad" He said.

Another tear fell.

He quickly wiped it away.

"Me neither, until I said it all out loud"

He smiled.

Then pulled me into his arms.

"It'll be alright" He whispered.

I smiled while laying my head into his chest.

Spencer really is the best.

He pulled away from the hug and looked deep into my eyes.

"Will you be my healing partner?" He asked.

I giggled.

"You're what?" I asked.

He laughed.

"My healing partner, it's something Dr. Silvie thought of. It can be anyone you trust and you stay together to heal each other and bring nothing but happiness to each other's life, together we can make each other stronger" He said.

I smiled.

He smiled back.

"So will you be my healing partner?" He asked again.

I chuckled.

"I will" I answered.

He smiled.

Then hugged me again.

Once he pulled back he looked down at my lips.

"You know I never got to kiss you"

I laughed.

"So what are you waiting for?" I asked.

He laughed.

Then leaned down.

His eyes closed and his lips approaching mine.

I closed my eyes and felt his lips touch mine.

He pressed his soft lips hard against mine.

Our first kiss outside of therapy.

So nice, right?

I felt his hands make their way down to my waist.

He grabbed me tightly as his tongue slipped into my mouth.

This kiss felt magical, it had a lot more emotion than the kisses I received from Austin.

Those kisses were pure lust...this kiss right now...it was...love.

I heard the door open again.

"Do you guys plan on making out the whole time or are you going to finish the session? Either one's fine with me" I heard Dr. Silvie's voice say.

I felt Spencer's lips curve into a smirk.

He took one last bite at my bottom lip and pulled away.

We both looked over at Dr. Silvie.

She had a very girly smile on her face.

"Waiting" She said.

Then went back inside.

The door slamming behind her.

Spencer looked back over at me and grabbed my hand.

"So are you ready to go back inside?" He asked with a smile.

I smiled back.

"Yea I'm ready" I replied.

He grinned.

Then opened the door.

I stared at him from behind.

That right there is my healing partner.

Together we will find true happiness.
