Geenee’s POV
“Oh well, living in this mansion alone and together with Yaya and the others is more happy than living with my own family. And of course, I’m happy without you here. Can’t you see? I have friends, lot of friends. How ‘bout you Yunee, do you have friends?”
Grabe, kanina pa gustong dumugo ng ilong ko. Kung wala lang kami sa harap ng hapag kainan ay nagnosebleed na ako ng bonggang bongga. They were talking in fluent English at napapabilib ako dahil nasundan ni Vens ang kakambal niya.
They were talking at may accent pa ang bawat salita nila. I don’t think this is right but… they were exchanging questions simula pa kanina at hindi na sila natigil. Are they fighting?
“Well, I do have one.”
“Really? Haha… I can’t believe that someone befriended you.”
“Atleast I have someone to be called my own friend.”
“Oh yeah, and where’s your friend? Is she here in the Philippines too?” Pagkasabi ni Vens niyan, bigla nalang naubo si Mitch kaya sakanya napunta ang lahat ng atensyon.
“Are you okay babe?” Tanong ni JC sa kanya. Tumango lang siya.
Tiningnan kong mabuti si Mitch and I also looked at Yunisse. Why is she looking at her like, she’s worried? Ako lang ba o, may nararamdaman akong mali dito?
I need to know the truth. I need to know what Mitch is hiding. Or is it true, that she’s hiding something from us?
Mitch’s POV
“Uhm, excuse, CR lang ako.” I said and excuse myself. Pumasok ako sa banyo at agad hinilamusan ang mukha ko.
I look myself in the mirror.
“Why I feel like this? Am I a traitor?”I ask myself in the mirror.
I know… I know that, Yunisse is my best friend. And Venisse is also my friend. Yes… for a month that I’ve stayed here, napalapit din ako kay Venisse at nakita kong mabait naman siya. I just can’t believe myself that I’ve been friends with two sisters who are now fighting with each other.
I don’t know who should I believe. Magkaiba ng kwento si Kaye at si Vens. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang nagsasabi ng totoo. I want to believe Kaye ‘coz, she’s my best friend.
But… I want to believe Vens too… because I’ve seen her suffered. Nasaksihan ko yon. But when I’m at States, Kaye never felt having trouble to her life. And… why I felt guilt? Hindi ko tuloy alam maski sa sarili ko kung ang pakikitungo ko ba kina Venisse ay totoo o… kasinungalingan.
If they would new that I’m her sister’s best friend, I think they would never ever forgive me. And, JC… I also lied to him. Even my boyfriend… I felt I betrayed him more than anyone. And now that I’ve found out who would Kaye’s fiancé? The situation will get more complicated.
I don’t want to betray Kaye. I love her. She’s the only friend I haved for years but… I don’t want to let Vens suffer more. I can’t let this situation run like this. I want them both to be happy. But how would I do that if the one’s happiness is the happiness of her sister?
What to do now? Who would I believe? Is it my best friend… or my new friend? Who’s saying truth?? Arghhh… sumasakit ang ulo ko. Why I have to be in this situation that I need to choose between them.
Vens’ POV
“Uuwi na kami. Kita nalang tau bukas?” Sabi sakin ni Drache but I just looked at them, blankly.
“Yeah… tomorrow.” I said and he just smiled and I smiled too and he kissed me in the forehead.
“Oh, tama na yang kakesohan na yan. Tara na’t umuwi. Pagod na pagod ako at namimiss ko na ang kama ko!” Reklamo ni Kuya Neil kaya bumusangot ako but Drache pinched my nose.
“Don’t worry… everything will be okay. If you need me, just call me. I’ll rush to come here for you.” I felt my cheeks heatened kaya iniwas ko ang tingin ko.
Why is he like this? Ganito ba ang pakiramdam ng minamahal… at… inaalagaan ng… boyfriend mo? It feels like, wow…
“Uh… sige na. Umalis na kayo. I’ll be okay. Tumawag ka nalang pag nakarating ka na sa condo mo.” I said and I’ve seen him smiled through my peripheral vision.
“Alis na kami Boss.” I looked at him and nod..
“Ingat.” Kumaway pa ako hanggang sa mawala na lahat ng kotse nila sa paningin ko.
“Boyfriend? Is he your boyfriend?” Napatingin ako sa gilid ko. And there I saw my beloved twin crossing her arms and looking at me while wearing her mischievous smile. I smiled at her too.
“Yes. He’s my boyfriend. Don’t tell me, pati siya aagawin mo sakin?” I said still smiling at her. Natawa nalang siya kaya mas lalo akong napangiti.
“I wouldn’t.”
“Bakit? May boyfriend ka ba?” Tanong ko sa kanya at napawi ang ngiti niya.
“Meron.” She said but didn’t smile.
“Uhhh… kala ko kasi wala eh. Kung may balak ka kasing agawin ang boyfriend ko, pasensya ka… kahit ibigay ko siya sayo, hinding hindi siya mapapasayo. Why? Because, a slave knows her real boss.”
“Really? But remember that even a slave can betray his own boss. Kaya if I were you sissy, pag-iingatan ko siya. Mas maganda, itali mo para hindi makawala sayo. Dahil sa oras na makawala siya… hindi ko alam pero, baka hindi na bumalik pa ang alaga mo.” She said and walks out.
Halos bagsakan ko siya ng isang libo’t isang daang malalaking tipak ng bato sa isipan ko. That would never happen. My slave will never leave me right? He does love me and I know that he’ll keep his promise. But why I feel bothered by what she said? Hindi mangyayaring iiwan ako ni Drache. Never…
Yunee’s POV
“Mom, remember what we’ve talked about before I left there?”
“…”
“Yeah. I forgot to ask what my fiancé’s name is and… can you send me his picture please?”
“…”
“Thanks Mom and oh! By the way, take care sa pag-uwi. I and my sister will welcome you here.”
“…”
“Of course. Masaya naman ang pagkikita namin. Ang dami niyang pinagbago and… she had a boyfriend.” I said and chuckled. I heard Mom laughed and I felt her voice became cheerful.
“…”
“I love you Mom. Tell Dad I love him too. Ingat kayo sa pag-uwi… bye.”
I sighed and laid down my bed.
“Even we’re far, kapag si Venee ang pinag-uusapan, lagi nalang kayong masaya. Pero kapag ako, bakit ang seryoso niyo?”
I grab my phone as soon as it beeps. I looked at it at napabangon ako and my eyes got even wider when I realize what I’m seeing right now.
“Anak, did you receive the multimedia I sent to you? That’s your fiancé. His name is… Alexander Reyes.” The message my Mom sent after she sent me the multimedia.
This is not an imagination right? This isn’t even a dream. Is this… is this real? I’m sure that I’m seeing my fiancé’s face now and the heck! Talaga bang umaayon sakin ang tadhana?
I smirk at that thought.
“Venee, this is just the beginning of our game… wait for more…”
