(Anne's Point Of View)
The police car pulls up outside my house, the wheels crunching the gravel below.
I stare at the house that I grew up in. All of the memories came forward, good and bad of the house that I haven't seen since, then.
I reluctantly climb out of the car and pause for a minute.
What if Mum doesn't recognise me, I mean, so much has changed.
I take a deep breath as the front door of the house swings wide open in a burst of passion, and my parents come charging through.
Our eyes lock and we just stare at each other. A single tear rolls down from my mum's eye and she wipes it and pounces at me. We clasp each other in a strong hug and my dad joins in too.
"Where have you been Honey?" Mum sobs, wiping the tear with her sleeve. "We have missed you so much. I missed you, your dad, James and Gwen."
Dad coughed and looked at mum and then behind me. I turned around swiftly to see James standing on the edge of the driveway awkwardly.
Our eyes connect and I run towards him nearly tripping up on the gravel. I fall into his arms and we kiss, the kiss feels like fireworks are exploding all of that snazzy crap. When we pull apart we hug tightly and he whispers in my ear,
"I love you Anne. I love you so bloody much."
I kiss him again and take his hand, and look him dead in the eyes.
"I love you too."
Author's note) I AM SO BLOODY SORRY. I haven't written since like February? God I am sorry. I have just been having trouble at home. But I am back with the new book, I know some of you guys were DYING to know what happened to Anne but I am not going to reveal it yet. Comment what you think happened.
