Dixon’s POV
“Hello, Craise?”
“…”
“Okay.”
“…”
“Talaga?”
“…”
“Hahaha… for sure matutuwa ang pinsan ko kapag nalaman niya.”
“…”
“O-okay… sige, hindi ko sasabihin.”
“…”
“Sige, sige… uhm… Craise… yung ano kasi… yung tanong ko sayo noong nakaraan…”
“…”
“HUH?! Ta-talaga?!”
“…”
“Hindi! Syempre gusto ko. Thank you.”
“…”
“Sige, mag-iingat ka… kita-kits… bye… I love you…”
After talking to her, ay hindi ako makapaniwala sa narinig ko. Tumalon-talon ako sa kwarto ko at nagsisisigaw.
“YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!” Ang saya ko lang dahil pinayagan na niya akong ligawan siya.
Uhm… yeah… I’m going to court Craise. Ang tagal ko na sanang gustong itanong yon sa kanya kaso nahihiya lang ako. At buti nalang pala at pinayagan niya ako. Wahaha.
At hindi lang yun ang ikinatutuwa ko. I have good news for Drache but… I still can’t say it to him or to anyone. Let’s surprise him nalang. HAHAHA…
Craise’s POV
“Oh, sinong kausap mo?” Tanong ni Vens. Kagagaling niya lang sa comfort room. Andito na kami ngayon sa school.
“Uhh, si Dix.”
“Ooohhh…. Uh… Craise, why are you red?” She asked looking at my face. I then cover my face with both hands.
“Wala… wala ‘to Vens.” Sabi ko sa kanya sabay talikod na sana pero hinigit niya ako paharap sa kanya at inalis ang mga kamay ko sa mukha.
“Tell me, do you know something that I don’t know?” She asked looking at me with serious face. I sighed. I should tell her. She’s my best friend after all.
“Vens, don’t get mad okay?” Tumango naman siya.
“Dix… Pinayagan ko siyang ligawan ako.” Sabi ko sa kanya. Napangiwi lang siya.
“Sigurado ka? Yan lang?” Tanong niya sakin kaya naman tumango ako and I felt blood rushed to my faced.
“Tell me more.” She said.
“I’ve talked to him at phone earlier… and he said before hanging up…” Kinikilig ako na ewan tuwing naalala yung sinabi niya kahit pabulong lang yon.
“What? Pabitin effect Craise?”
“He said… I love you.” I said as I smiled and put my both hands on my cheeks.
“Aish! Di na ako magtataka kung isang araw, maging kayo na. Noong umpisa palang, nasesense ko na yung love aura between you two.” She said as she walked away. I can’t help myself but to smile.
“Vens! Wait for me!” And I run towards her.
Unknown’s POV
“Ready na ba?”
“…”
“Okay, sunduin mo nalang ako pagdating ko diyan.”
“…”
“Ngayong Sabado, 5 ng umaga ang Flight ko kaya baka 9 na ng gabi ako makarating.”
“…”
“Make sure na hindi ka malelate.”
“…”
“Okay… Bye.” I hang up as I heard knocks on my door.
“Come in.”
“Anak, you sure you’re going there?”
“Of course Mom. Namimiss ko na po ang kapatid ko.”
“Is it alright if you’ll see her? Hindi ka ba natatakot?” Me? Afraid? Oh gosh, dapat, siya ang matakot.
“No Mom. I think I can conquer this. It’s been a long time. And right now, I’m okay.”
“Ayaw mo ba talagang samahan kita?” If sasama ka, I’m sure, siya na naman ang makikita mo. Balewala na naman ako. Umiling nalang ako.
“No Mom. I can do this by my own. Besides, Dad needs you here. Atsaka, susunod rin naman kayo agad di ba? For my engagement party?” I said as she nodded.
“Of course. Basta mag-iingat ka doon.” I smiled and nodded at her too and she hugged me.
“Sige po Mom, matutulog na ako. Good night.” And I kiss her cheeks.
“Good night.” When she gets out of my room, I lay on my bed and sighed.
“Just three more days. Three more days and I’m coming home… Wait for me.”
Wait till I come back. Because when the time I step in the Philippines, I’ll start ruining your life, again. Hindi ako titigil hangga’t hindi ako nagiging masaya.
Geenee’s POV
“Sinong kausap mo Mitch?”
“Huh? Uh… wala… friend ko sa States.” She said as she hides her phone in her pocket.
“Okay? Uhm… hinahanap ka na nila Vens.” Tumango nalang siya atsaka umalis.
“Hmmm… friends sa States? Mitch is acting so weird this past few days.” Hindi ko nalang pinansin yon at pumunta sa building nila Kuya.
“Geen!” May tumawag sakin kaya naman humarap ako. It was Lester, running for his life. He’s been tugged by Kats and their both running towards me.
“Ano na naman bang kailangan ng mga ‘to?” Di ko nalang sila pinansin at sinakyan ko nalang ang board ko at lumayo sa kanila.
But unfortunately, someone ride on my board and the both of us is now riding. I turn my head to see if who it is.
“LESTER?!” I yelled as he smiled at me. Bumaba yung tingin ko sa kamay niya. And the heck! He is hugging my waist! I felt heat on my face and turn my head away.
“What do you think you are doing? Bumaba ka sa board ko.” I said as we both push our feet to the floor to make the board run.
“Kats is running for me. Hahayaan mo bang mahuli niya ako?” He said and I think he’s smiling like an idiot but I didn’t look at him.
“Bwisit! Wala akong pakealam kahit patayin ka pa niya, kaya bumaba ka ngayon din!” Sigaw ko at inalis yung kamay niya sa bewang ko.
“Wait, matutumba tayo Geen.” He said. But it was too late… Parang nagslow motion ang lahat.
“Hahh… Geeeennn…” And he hugged me and holds my head. And in an instance, we’re both lying on the floor.
I open my eyes and looked at him. My eyes got widened. I’m on top of him and he’s hugging me.
Kumalas ako sa yakap niya at tumayo agad. Dinampot ko yung board ko at niyakap. Nanatili lang siyang nakahiga sa semento at nakatulala.
“Lester? Hoy! Lester! Kung gusto mong humiga, sa kama ka humiga, hindi sa semento.” I said as I kicked him slightly on his legs but he remains looking at nowhere and still lying.
Medyo kinabahan ako. Nauntog ba ang ulo niya? Patay na ba siya? Ni hindi man lang siya kumukurap but he’s breathing. I can see his stomache moving up and down.
“Lester. Bahala ka diyan. Iiwan kita. ISA!” Pagbabanta ko sa kanya.
“Hindi ka ba talaga tatayo? DALAWA!” Pero nanatili parin siya sa ganong pwesto. Ang pinagkaiba lang, kumukurap na siya ngayon.
“Last nalang ‘to. Bahala ka sa buhay mo. Iiwan na kita. Magbibilang na ako…” But he’s still not moving. He’s just blinking. G*go yata ‘tong lalaking ito. Uso ba kumurap ng kumurap ngayon?
“Tatlo!” I said and turn my back to him.
“Nee-nee…” I stopped as I heard my nickname. My body shivers as I turn my head to look at him. He is now sitting while his head bowed and he’s holding it.
Nanatili lang akong nakatayo, and now, I’m the one who’s blinking. Did I hear it right? Did he call me nee-nee? Or it is Geenee? Mali ba ako ng pagkakarinig?
“Geenee! Tulungan mo kaya akong tumayo noh!” Sabi niya kaya naman napatingin ako sa kanya. He’s now looking at me… blankly, same as I do.
Without any hesitation, I come near him and offer my hand. He accepts it. I was about to pull him to make him stand but he pulled me and I end up falling my board and sitting on the floor as he hugged me tightly.
I felt my heart pounding so hard. Is it me or it is his? What is this weird feeling?
“Are you okay? Wala bang masakit sayo?” I don’t know but, I just found myself hugging him back.
“Siraulo ka ba? Ako dapat ang nagtatanong sayo niyan. Wala bang masakit sayo? Ayos ka lang ba?” I said as I burrow my head in his shoulder
“I think wala ng masakit ngayon because you’re hugging me right now and it felt like all the pain was gone…” And I realize what we are doing now. Agad-agad akong kumalas sa yakap at kinuha yung board ko. Tumayo ako at pinagpaganda yung pants ko.
“I… I Uh… Better go now. Pupuntahan ko pa si Kuya. Sige. Diyan ka na.” Sabi ko sabay takbo paalis.
“Idiot, Lester!”I whispered but then smiled.
