Chapter 2
Maddie's POV
All I could say is that it was dark. Dark as hell, in fact that night as well be called the moment it became hell on earth. As the music in Brooke's car seemed to get louder with every passing minute the dark seemed to get darker, if that's even possible. We were about twenty minutes into our forty minute drive when the music suddenly stopped.
"Paige!" Mackenzie yelled at her because she was in the front seat.
"Kenzie," I said calmly, "don't act that way in front of the camera." I stated, pointing to the Go Pro that was attached to the dashboard of Brooke's car.
"Sorry, but I want the music back on!" Exclaimed Kenzie.
"Look, we probably just hit a point where it doesn't get the signal." Explained Brooke. After that it became dead silent in the car. No ringing of cell phones or text alerts, that is until the bending of metal boomed through our ears. Screamed ringed out from the back of the van until they were drowned out by the darkness.
