"Scum fell, scum bucket." I laugh as I hear Jenna verbally abuse Logan on the tv.
"You know he can't hear you Jenna." She smiles,
"Oh I wish he would, I'd really like if the loser would just leave and never come back!" She yells as she draws me into a hug,
"We all know you'd jump his bones before he could even get one word out of his mouth." She gasphs.
"Okay Liz we all know you're the easy one in the family!" My mouth pops open as I turn around, Jermey walks by just in time
"Of course she is did you see her chase an innocent new kid the other day? Almost made him cry!" He bursts out laughing as he takes a seat on the couch.
"I'll have you know I just wanted his name, but apparently Matt got to him first, and he kept taking off running whenever I approached him." I try and defend myself as I sit on the table finishing last nights homework I had forgoten to do.
"I'm amazed the fatter twin managed to keep up with him." He gives me a mega watt smile
"Oh my god did this lazy ass just call me fat?" I point at Jermey as turn towards Jenna as she takes out a semi empty carton of Ben and Jerry's. She pulls the carton up to eye level with me, a judgmental stare already in place
"I swear to god it was Elena!" I look down at my phone as it annoyingly rings,
"Hello rent a hoe this is Liz, if you've rented the Mexican caramba, they'll be there in a day. Anything else I can help you with?"
"Wow Eliza you've really come up in the world from a prostitute to a pimp!"
"I know Matt I work pretty fast now what do you want you little shit?"
"Did you sign my ass up for Tinder?" I give a dramatic gasp
"I would never Mattie! And if I did I would've made you gay! Goodbye Matt."
"Liz we're not done, take it down, I'll put your name on a porn start list if you don't delete it!" I give him a sadistic laugh
"Wow Mattie thanks for the compliment I know I'm good in bed!"
"See about that I've been talking to John and apparently you can't seem to keep your balance when you top?" My face goes red
"Okay it was Jermey! I swear I tried to talk him out of it!" I yell as Jermey picks up his phone right after I hung up on Matt
"Dude I swear to god I don't know anything about a Tinder profile." I listen as I get closer to him
"What do you mean we matched!?" Jermey swings around and starts running towards me
"You know Jenna maybe I'll take that run you suggested!" I yelled at Jenna in the kitchen as I bolted out of the door.
I turn back around as I had realized I'd left my keys in my bag, which is in my room, I groan pulling my curls out of my face as I start making my way back up the stairs,I look up hearing heavy footsteps coming towards me
"Oh my god don't go up there I'm scarred for life!" I laugh my ass off falling down in the process
"It's not funny the beds starting to move I'm outta here!" Jermey bolts out the door forgetting the whole Tinder charade in the process.
Me, Bonnie and Caroline decided to meet at the grill before the founders party tonight, of course I wasn't all that happy about it as they've been doing it for years with the same people I've known for years.
"You're taking Damon to the founders party! What about me?" I look over at Bonnie with a sympathetic smile
"Hey we can always go together as a pair of lesbian lovers?" Bonnie breaks out into a laugh as a cute waiter sets down our menus and drinks," hey that's my lover you got your eyes on there you punk. The guy slowly backs away as he continues to repeat he was sorry
"Gosh I'll never get a boyfriend with you around Liz." I give an over dramatic gasp, as a new waiter walks by and asks for our orders
"Ooh the chocolate ice cream cake looks good!" I look up after a long pause of silence between my best friends
"What? Please don't start I almost beat the girl that tried to tell me it wasn't healthy to carry around chocolate in your bra." Caroline gives her head a shake, and a long heavy sigh, I raise my eyebrow
"That was Miss. Milner the Health teacher, and I agree with her." I gave her a look that would have killed her if it could.
"I need a drink."
I try and get Jared's attention as much possible. "You know he had a great laugh once he knew you couldn't keep your balance!" Matt gives a diabolical laugh as he walks by, I could hear Jared snickering in the background.
"Wow good to know to never let you top when the time comes." I turn my head towards Damon giving him an obnoxious fake laugh and a charming smile as he sits down
"The usual." Jared automatically poor Damon a glass of bourbon.
"Okay I get it Jared i know I wasn't the best when I stole your Halloween candy when we were kids, but do you still have to have a grudge?" Jared turns around and makes his way back
"Yes I do and honey right now he's got a better ass than you." My mouth pops open as Damon starts laughing, to the point he starts snorting. Jackass Matt makes his way back
"Point one for Matt." I look over as I give him a murderous look
"Hey Damon have I ever told you the time Matt got shocked when Mandy over there was gonna give him a BJ, right on the pe pe, He didn't realize the bimbo was rubbing her feet on the carpet before." I start laughing till the point it's starts to hurt as Matt embarrassingly makes his way to the back.
Me and Bonnie lock arms as we are greeted into the Lockwood mansion. Aunt Jenna immediately makes a bee line straight to the bar. I give Bonnie a smile as a cute boy comes up and asks her if she'd like to dance. I follow behind Jenna trying to see if I can sneak a little of the hard stuff out. I suddenly feel a presence behind me
"Hello Damon, why aren't you with Caroline?" I turn as Damon gives a smile
"I'd like to ask my friend for a dance before I'm busy."
"That's very sweat of you Day." I take the hand he held out for me as he leads me to the dance floor, Jared right he does have a better ass than me. We stop in the middle of the dance floor and face each other, I put my hand on his shoulder, and he loops his hand around my waist, I smile as a slow song comes on, giving me a chance to talk to him.
"So any progress in your relationship with your brother?" He snorts as he shakes his head and leads us into a spin. As I spin back, me being as fabulous as I am, trips on his feet and start heading face first to the ground, I close my eyes waiting for impact. Three...two...one.
I peek one eye open and get an eye full of Damon's eyes, I laugh as Damon brings me back up. "No." I look at him confused
"For your question earlier, it's a no." I give a sad smile
"you know me and Elena never really used to be close but then my parents died, and I realized that family is important, and that one day family may be the only thing you have, and it could be taken in an instant."
I make way way towards Stefan and Elena as they study the old registry.
"Look at all these familiar names Sheriff William Forbes, Mayor Benjamin Lockwood..is that Damon and Stefan Salvatore?" I look up to Stefan as Elena asks her question,"the original Salvatore brothers, our ancestors.
"I look up to Damon as he approaches with Caroline by his side.
"Tragic story actually."
"We don't need to bore them with stories of the past."
"It's not boring, I'd love to hear more about your family." I give a snort at Elena's way of sucking up, she shoves me to the side.
"Damn you on the cycle this week Lena?" I Walk towards Stefan with an attempt at another high five, He gives me a smile and leans in right as I'm about to slap it, he pulls back. I Look up shocked at what Stefan had done
"Why you gotta betray me like that Stef?" Elena starts laughing,
"I taught him that." I give Elena a not so secretive glare.
"I'm bored, I want to dance but Damon will only dance with Liz." She crosses her arms over chest, giving Damon a glare
"Can't I just borrow your date." I laugh internally, payback is a bitch.
"I don't really dance."
"Oh sure he does, you should see him the waltz, the jitter bug, the moonwalk, He does it all."
"You wouldn't mind would you Elena?" I give snort as I repeat what she says in a snarky voice back to Elena.
"It's up to Stefan."
"Sorry but I'm not going to take no for an answer." And there you have it Caroline literally just stole Elena's boyfriend, I start snickering under my breath.
"Let's just say the men in the Salvatore family have been cursed with sibling rivalry." I give Damon a reassuring nod to continue
"The Salvatore name was practically royalty till the war, there was a battle here-
I cut him off,"the Battle of Willow Creek." He gives me a smile as he continues,
"What the history books left out was that the people that were killed, they weren't there by accident. They were believed to be be union sympathizers, so the Founders wanted them rounded up and burned inside. Damon and Stefan had someone they loved very much in there."
"Who?"
"I don't know a woman I suppose, doesn't it always comes down to a love of a woman?" Damon gets closer to me as he points this out, I pat his shoulder as I make my way out
"I'm sorry Damon." I give him one last look before we're out of the room.
Me, Elena and Caroline head upstairs to the bathroom. Caroline had been rubbing her shoulder the whole night I was worried
"Are you okay Care? Maybe I should check it out just In case." I tell her as I reach forward
"No! Don't!" But it was too late and the bite marks were reveled to us
"Oh my god Caroline who did this to you?"
"No one!" She yells as she tries to pull her scarf up.
"Was it Damon I bet it was him!" I look over giving Elena a shocked and angry look
"look just because you don't like Damon doesn't mean you have to automatically assume it was him!
"Come on Caroline let's find out!" Elena grabs Caroline out of the bathroom and storms out to the back patio.
"Did you do this to her!" Elena yells at Damon, I wait for him to deny it, but he never does.
"You are one sick bastard, stay away from me, my family and friends!" Elena goes to grab me to make our way out of the party, I stop for a moment, I look into Damon's eyes
"Damon what did you do?" I get no response from him, I didn't think I'd want one anyway.
