This chapter is going to be a flashback of Namjoon's life with his ex-girlfriend
Flashback
I walk through the door of my high school.
I was greeted by my six friends, but didn't see my best friend.
" Umm guys, where's Jackson" I asked.
" Hey Namjoon" someone yelled from behind.
I turn around and see Jackson running towards me.
" Hey, where were you" I asked
" Woke up late" he said
" Of course" I replied.
" Look Namjoon, you're little crush is here" Seokjin said.
I turn around and see Myoui Mina, my crush since the beginning of high school.
" Yeah, but she'll never love me" I said sadly.
" Hey, no negativity here mister" seokjin said a
strict voice"
" Sorry" I said.
The bell rang at that moment, so we all separated to our classes.
I walk into English, with Mina right behind me.
" Okay, so you guys are going to do a English project with a partner. I already chose your partners and wrote them on the board.
I saw my name next to Mina's.
' Yes, we're partners' I thought.
" Get together with your partners and start on the project"
I saw Mina walking towards me.
' Don't make a fool of yourself'
" Hi Namjoon" she said.
' Oh god she said my name'
" Hi Mina" I replied.
" So for the project, do you want to come to my house or yours" she asked
" We could go to my house if you want" I said.
" Okay, I'll be there right after school" she said.
I gave her my address, just in time as the bell rang.
I ran towards my friends and told them what happened.
They were so happy for me.
I felt so excited.
Author's POV
Namjoon met up with Mina after school and we walked toward his house.
When they arrived, they were greeeted by his mom.
" Hello Namjoon, who's this" she asked.
" Nice to meet you Mrs. Kim, I'm Mina.
Namjoon and I were assigned a English project together" Mina said so politely.
" It's very nice to meet you Mina. Why don't you guys go up to Namjoon's room and I'll bring some snacks" she said.
They entered his room and started the project.
His mom brung them cookies
They took a break for a bit while eating.
" I don't know much about you Namjoon. Tell me a bit about yourself" she said.
" Well, I'm was born in IIsan. I love to rap and also produce music" Namjoon said
" That's really cool. I love singing. Maybe we could make a song together one day" she said
" Sure" He replied.
They went back to work before she left.
" See you tomorrow Namjoon" she smiled and waved and he did the same.
That whole night, Namjoon couldn't stop thinking about Mina.
What he didn't know was that Mina was thinking the same thing about Namjoon.
Namjoon's POV
It was the next day.
My friend asked me what happened last night and I told them everything.
From when we entered to when she left.
Mina walked through the doors, when
jungkook said " You should just confess to her right now" he said
I agreed about to go to her, when she already came up to me.
" Can I talk to you Namjoon" she said
" Sure" i replied.
I felt a bit scared
Did I do something wrong.
Well since I'm about to talk to her, maybe I
should confess.
" Umm, I need to tell you something Namjoon" she said.
" I need to tell you something as well, but you go first" I said
" Okay, so I've had a crush on you for a very longtime now. Ever since yesterday, I've been wanting to confess. Will you go on a date with me" she asked.
'OMG SHE ASKED ME OUT'
" I've been wanting to ask you the same thing.
Of course I will" I said.
" So well meet up at the park" she said.
" Definitely" I replied.
I walked towards my friends and told them
what happened.
They were so happy for me.
I finally get to go on a date with Mina.
The Night Of The Date
I arrived at the park with a bouquet of flowers.
I see Mina sitting on the bench waiting for me.
" Hello Mina" I said
" Hi Namjoon" she said
I handed her the flowers and she thanked me.
We walked around the park taking and laughing.
For dinner, we went to a restaurant that was not that far away.
We sat at our table, waiting for our waiter.
We looked at each other in the eyes and smiled,
just when the waiter arrived.
" Oh, what a lovely couple" he said.
" No sir we're not dating" I said
" Yet" he said
He took our order and left
The food arrived after a while.
We finished then went to dessert.
After everything was finished, we payed the bill and left.
We arrived at the outside of Mina's house.
" Thank you so much for tonight Namjoon" she said
" Thank you Mina. I've been meaning to ask you. We had a lot of fun tonight, and I was hoping... will you be my girlfriend " I said
" Really" she asked
" Yes" I said
" Definitely" she said
We hugged each other then broke apart.
Right before I left, she pecked my cheek then went inside her home.
I started to walk home smiling.
' This is the best day of my life'
Days Later
Mina and I walked to school together.
Everyone was clearing the hallway for us.
We were the most popular couple.
But there is something I notice now.
Whenever I ask Mina out, she says she's always busy.
She always give me the same excuse.
I'll just let it go.
I always trust my girlfriend.
One Year Later
Today is our one year anniversary.
My friend are at my house helping me get ready because Mina and I have a date today.
Jackson said he went out with his parents so he couldn't come.
Hoseok fixes my bow tie and they send me of.
I buy some flowers for Mina before I go to her
house.
I knocked on the door, but no ones answer.
It's unlocked.
I went inside and hear someone in the living room.
I walked in and stand there in shock.
Mina is siting there kissing another man
" MINA" I yell.
She stops and looks at me.
She just smiles.
Before I said something, I stood there in shock.
I looked at the man she was kissing.
" Jackson"
