Chapter Thirteen - Tricked and Hospital
Bella was packing when her phone went off.
"Who is it?" I asked
"It's home. I'll put it on speaker" She did so.
"Mom, I'm glad you got our message. What are you doing home?" She started
"Bella,? Bella? Bella, where are you?"
"Calm down everything's fine."
"Bella, Bella!" I felt as if there was something was wrong on the other end but I didn't know what.
"I'll explain everything later." There was shuffling
"Mom, are you there?" I asked
"Forks High School doesn't protect its students privacy very well. It was just too easy for Victoria to find your previous address." I stood up bolt straight hearing James' voice on the other end. "It's a nice house you have here. I was prepared to wait for the two of you, but them Mom came home after she received a very worried call from your Dad, and it all worked out quite well."
"Wait, wait."
"Don't you touch her, or I swear I'll rip your head off." I sneer down the phone and he laughed
"You can still save her but you're gonna have to get away from your friends."
"Where should we meet you?" Bella asked taking my hand
"How about your old ballet studio. I'll know if you bring anyone other than your sister along. Or poor mummy would pay the price." He hung up and I grabbed my jacket.
"Cleo, stay here sweetie." I grabbed my cane and Bella escorted me out.
"Coast is clear, let's go."
"I can't believe were doing this."
"We have too, for Mom. Here's a taxi."
"Mimi's studio please." The driver took us to Bella's ballet studio and we paid before getting out.
"Here we go." I muttered at I was taken in.
"Mom?"
"Bella? Bella? Bella where are you?"
"Mom!" We ran over to somewhere and heard Mom again. Bella opened the doors and I heard my Mom and a younger Bella. taking about how Bella sucked
"You do not suck." There was a laugh behind us.
"That's my favourite part. You were a stubborn child weren't you?"
"She not here is she." I breathed and I was pinned against the wall
"No. Sorry. But you know you really made it too easy. So to make things more entertaining, I'm gonna make a little film of our time together. I borrowed this from your house I hope you don't mind...And action." I tried to control my breath but I was panicking slightly.
"Awh, that'll break little Edward and Jasper's hearts."
"They have nothing to do with this" Bella shoved him
"But they do, their rage will make more for interesting sport than their feeble attempt to protect the two of you."
"You have no idea what you will start. You idiotic vampire!" I pushed myself off the wall. "It won't be just Edward or Jasper or the Cullen's."
"Oohh fighting talk, I like it. You are special."
"You bet your arse. Bella, now." She sprayed him and grabbed my hand as we started running. We were forced apart and I whacked my head against a wall. I groaned lifting my had to my head where I felt blood.
"Oh, I chose my stage well." he took an intake of breath "It's a shame they don't have the strength to turn you. Instead he kept you these fragile little humans. It's cruel really." I He took my hand and licked the blood. he jumped up excited
"Euphoric." He then stomped on my arm I screamed in pain.
"Tell Edward how much it hurts."
"Never." I snarled
"Tell him" I said nothing and he left me. Bella screamed
"Bella."I yelled
"Tell them to avenge you." We screamed in protest. "Edward no, don't do it."
"Tell them! Tell them!" There was a grunt. "What was happening?"
"Bella" I muttered
"Edward he's here?"
"You're faster than the other" there was a smash "But not stronger"
"I'm strong enough to kill you." There was another crash and I felt Bella near me. She had crawled to get closer.
"Edward." she breathed
"I'm sorry." he picked the both of us up and jumped we were pulled back down and I went flying. Bella screamed in pain I pulled a piece of mirror out of my side
"Bella?!" she started grunting and I felt James' dark presence over me he took my arm that was broken and bit into it." I felt the venom run through me I grunted in pain as the outside world became kinda numb.
"Jackie."
"R-Ro." She shushed me .
"Carlisle, Blood."
"Jasper bring her over here." Carlisle knelt down next to me.
"Rosalie help the others. Go." Carlisle listed what was wrong with Bella and I. I felt someone stroking my head and I knew it was Edward.
"My head, it's on fire."
"You have to make a choice. Let the change happen"
"No. No." Edward and Jasper denied.
"It's gonna happen, I've seen it."
"It doesn't have to be that way, Alice." Jasper snapped
"They're still haemorrhaging. Alice your Belt. I felt something go around my waist. Then a shift as if he was helping both of us.
"Carlisle what's our other option?" Edward asked
"Carlisle" Jasper snapped
"We can try to suck the venom out."
"You know we won't be able to stop."
"Find the will, to stop. Choose. They only have minutes left." I screamed again
"I'll make it go away. Jackie. I will" he bit into my arm and I struggled to breath.
"Stop, their blood is clean. Edward stop. Find the will."

I took a large intake of breath, and panicked. Where was I? What was happening?
"Jackie, Jackie. Breath."
"Mom?"
"It's me sweetie. You're in hospital."
"What Happened? Where's...Where's Edward."
"He's asleep. He never leaves." I nodded and relaxed
"What happened."
"You broke you're arm and lost a lot of blood. Edward, Jasper and their Dad. They came to try and bring you and your sister back. You went over to meet the and you tripped while following Bella. Both of you went flying through a window." I start remembering part of what happened "But it wasn't how Mom was telling it
"You don't remember any of this do you." I shook my head
"Oh honey I'm so sorry." There was a buzz.
"It's Phil, he so worried about the two of you." I heard keys clicking
"Are you texting?" I asked
"Yes, finally. I told him to stay down in Florida. Oh honey, you two are going to love Jacksonville. It's sunny every day, we've found the cutest little house and the two of you have your own bathroom."
"I don't wanna move."
"What?" she asked
"I still wanna live in Forks. I don't wanna leave" she stroked my hair
"Well, okay, we'll talk about it later."
"Can you get Dad? And check on Bella. Please, I'm worried."
"She fine, she woke up not long before you did. But I'll go get him, and a nurse." she kissed my check and left. I heard the door shut.
"What really happened, to James."
"We took care of it." he came closer "And the woman, Victoria, she ran off."
"I'm alive because of you."
"No, you're in here because of me. The worst part of it was, I thought that I wasn't going to be able to stop."
"I knew you would and you did."
"Jackie, you gotta go to Jacksonville so I can't hurt you anymore."
"What? Are you insane? No! What are you even talking about. You want me to go away. I'm not just gonna leave, you.. No!"
"I know."
"We can't be apart. You can't leave me."
"I know." He took my head
"Don't you ever say stuff like that to me again, ever."
"I won't. Where else I'm I going to go."
