Man, what have you become
A superfluous being with thoughts of grandeur
Man, how you have inflated your ego
No more, is your humility
Man, how you have let yourself go
Your humanity seems to have disappeared
Man, you are weak, subservient to materials
You are fraudulent, almighty king of the world
Man, you are no better than the animals you kill for food
You are nothing more than the hairless apes,
Man, your brilliance breeds ignorance
Your coherence will be your end.
Notes
This is a poem from August of 2017, very unhappy times for everyone. Mostly because people had their heads up their own asses.
I feel like I'm bad at poetry though.
