If we had a way we could feel all the pain we were going to feel in our lifetime all in one day, and then none at all. Would you take that option? The rest of our days will be full of bliss and happiness right? So why not? Happiness is beneficial for the body but it's the grief that develops the mind.

When you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You appreciate it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn't get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don't get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.
The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying "You're too this, or I'm too this." That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.

Pain comes in all forms. The small twinge, a bit of soreness, the random pain, the normal pain we live with every day. Then there is the kind of pain you can't ignore. A level of pain so great that it blocks out everything else, makes the rest of the world fade away. Until all we can think about is how much we hurt. How we manage our pain is up to us. We anesthetize, ride it out, embrace it, ignore it, and for some of us the best way to manage pain is to just push through it.

In today's age with one thought you can kill anyone and everyone, and one person who puts their mind to it can teach and save everyone. In the world of the internet where 51% of our time is spent, whatever we do matters the most, because one thought can change the world for the better or worse, so when you have nothing to say, say nothing because in a world (cyberspace) where God doesn't exist everyone is God.

They realize happiness is not simply having their material needs met. Thus, society has set up a system of rewards that go beyond material goods. These include titles, social recognition, status, and political power, all wrapped up in a package called self-fulfillment. Attracted by these prizes and loaded on by social pressure, people spend their short lives, tiring body and mind to chase after these goals. Perhaps this gives them the feeling that they have achieved something in their lives, but in reality, they have sacrificed a lot in life. They can no longer see, hear, act, feel, or think from their hearts. Everything they do is dictated by whether it can get them social gains. In the end, they've spent their lives following other people's demands and never lived a life of their own. How different is this from the life of a slave or a prisoner?

I started to realize how many great things could happen by confronting things that scare me the most, if we can overcome that then we can do anything we want. But the beginning is the hardest part to overcome. To decide that you will live the life of your dreams can be a scary. We know what we want but the fear of failure in our hearts stop us from pursuing it, but the truth is the things we fear the most have already happened to us. We forget that we have survived it once, which means we can survive it again if we have to, all that we have left to choose is the correct moment to begin.
