i deleted your number in hopes of deleting you from my memory.
i didn't delete it all at once; i wasn't ballsy enough for that.
i deleted your name first, so that when i scrolled through my messages my heart wouldn't contort in pain because just the sight of your name does that to me.
it took me weeks to finally break down and delete you all together; and i cried. i cried knowing i now had no way of contacting you. we...us, were over.
i deleted your number in hopes of deleting you from my memory; but you called me. Why did you call? Did you call because you knew I finally gave up on you? Or did you call because you realized living without me was the worst thing you could do to yourself?
you shouldn't have called me.
