Austin fought a battle of changing the very squirmy baby's diaper. It was a lot tougher now
Poop was everywhere
" stay still child" he said
Ava rolls to her belly which causes the poop to get all over her
" oh my god" Austin said in frustration " Ava please!"
He puts her back into place and tries again
Ava rolls to her stomach again
" Ava Moon! Stop playing games with your father!! Stay still!" He said " why am I arguing a 6 month old.. I'm so lost with out mommy"
Ava smiles at her father and kicks around
" fuck this, I'm giving you a bath.. I need to clean this.. oh god" he said picking her up
He walks to the bathroom gagging
" your mother is getting all pretty trying on dresses for auntie Carries wedding " he giggled as he washed the squirmy baby " let me wash your lil bum"
Ava giggled too
" you like the word bum?" He said " yea it's a funny word"
He picked her up and kissed her cute little baby face
" alrighty all clean and changed and ready for the day!" He said
He put her on the ground so she could roll around and play while he called his best friend
" hey dude!" Austin said " are you here yet?"
" yes I'm right outside can you let me in" Dez said
" come on angel let's go get your uncle" he picked up Ava
He opened the huge double doors letting Dez in

Ava smiled
" aw she's so cute and getting so big" Dez said
The men sat on the couch
" yea she looks like she's gonna crawl any day now but for now she just rolls around like that" Austin said pointing to his rolling daughter
" Ava." Austin calls her
She turns to the direction of her fathers voice and smiled
" aw she loves you" Dez said
" yea i love her too.. she's such a smiley baby.. she only really cries when she's tired, hungry or when ever Ally leaves a room.." Austin begins
" is she sleeping at night?" Dez asked " i know you guys had trouble with that"
" oh yea.. we're actually trying to have her sleep in her room.." Austin smiled

" it's my best friend.. until she decides she wants out.. oh and today she's trying real food for the first time" ally said excitedly
" do mom's really get excited over the littlest things?" Carrie asked

" we love that little bear as much as you do, but can we please get back to our plans with Hawaii" Trish asked " you'll have a sitter I assume so we can party the night before and the night of course"
" yes, Austin's mom is coming, she'll be with Ava the whole time" ally said

She only smiled with her mouth closed

" you and Carrie decided on when the time to have Kids?" Austin asked

Ally returns home
And was greeted first by her puppy " woah calm down. Calm down" she smiles " I missed you too"
" Austin! I'm home!!" She yells out
" we're in here!" He said
She goes into the family room
He was on the ground with Ava playing
" hey you .." she said " thanks for making me cry. You jerk!"
" oh you're welcome, honey, we got a cute kid, so just expect cute pictures when you're not home.. but anyways how was dress shopping?" He asked
" oh great.." she said almost ignoring him once she spotted Ava on the ground looking at her
" hello my love" she went immediately to Ava " i missed you!! Where you a good girl to Daddy and uncle Dez?"
" mwah! mwah! I missed you my baby bear!!" She kissed her baby's face
" yes she was." Austin said " are you proud?"
" very" ally smiles " very proud" she smiles into Ava's smiling face " are you hungry?"
" yes.. very" Austin said
" not you, Ava" she said kissing Ava again
" what about me?" Austin asked
" are you hungry?" She asked Austin
" yes.." he said pouting " where's my kiss?"
She leans down and kissed Austin
" thanks.." he said smiled
" let's try outs some solids, she's old enough now.. she can sit up, and everything" Ally said they went into the kitchen where ally placed her in the high chair
Ava cries at the fact she wasn't being held by her mother
" she missed you all day, maybe this isn't the right time" Austin informed her
" I can't hold her and feed her food.." she said
" yea you can isn't that what you've been doing all along?" He said
" real food.. baby food" she said " now.. carrots or peas ?" She held up the purée food
" yuck.. peas.." he said " it's better than carrots"
" you're right" she said
He pops off the lid and smells it " holy fuc.."
" Austin.." she said
" I mean holly fudging Christmas this stuff reaks!! How do babies enjoy this shh. I can't do this.. just smell it"
He held up the mashed peas and she smelled it
" oh god" She gagged " how about I make her purée peas?"
" okay, I'll play with her" he said
Ava babbled and smiled at Austin playing with her
She was the happiest when her parents played with her, she'd have the biggest smile and they biggest belly laugh that no one else could make her do besides them.
Ally smiles at her favorite people ever
" okay.. it's done and it doesn't smell!" She said
They both sat down infornt of Ava
" okay how do we do this?" He asked
" feed her.." she said
" I don't know why but I'm nervous.." he said
" me too!" She admitted " can I go first"
" yea.." he said moving back
" why did you move back?" She asked
" Incase she spits it back out, this is a nice shirt.." he said
" she won't.. she's so little it won't get that far." She said

" let me try" he said taking the spoon " the Trick is you should make her laugh, and then put it in to her mouth"

He put a spoonful Into her mouth

Ava scrunched her face at the new texture and immediately spit it out
" she doesn't like it" he said
" let me taste" she said tasting it " what? It tastes awesome!"
" that's because you made it, and you love veggies.. she's her daddies girl, she knows what's up and veggies aren't up." He said
" hey, it's a new taste for her, besides my milk of course she's gonna spit it out!!" She said feeling insulted
" okay let's give it another go then.." he said
This time Ally fave her a mouth full
It took three tries before Ava finally kept it down
" good girl!!" Ally smiled " see she likes it, she's her mommies girl, she knows what's up, and veggies are up!"
Austin shook his head at her
They looked at the very green and messy Ava then at each other
" NOT IT!" They both shouted
" I cleaned her crap this morning! And all day today!! You know how many times she poops and pee in a day!" He said
" I change her all the time.. and clean up her spit ups and you know how much I gag when I see puke" she said
" you know the rules, who ever says not it a second later, cleans the baby.." he said
She pouted
" lets make a deal, I'll clean the chair.. and dinner dishes.. and You clean the baby"
" DEAL!!" She said so fast
" I'll even cook too.." he said
" damn? What did she do have a poop explosion today?" She asked
" I don't want to talk about it.." he said remembering this morning
She took Ava out of the chair and brought her close to her fathers face
" change me" She teased

" I'm so cute" ally said mimicking a baby voice
Ava smiled
" aww okay.. you're cute.. you both are" He said
