and i'm so fucking tired of this back-and-forth game because you end up between the sheets with the girl i hated in first grade, and i'm laying in mine, with a pen, some paper, and half a bottle of vodka and then my phone rings and i find myself jumping up, hoping hoping hoping that it is you, but it's only a man from connecticut, looking for someone by the name of katie, so i pace the floor for awhile wondering why no one wants me instead of someone named katie, because coincidentally or not, the girl you are currently looming over is called katie, and i decide to lay back down on the bed, wishing i had never met you and i down bits of the alcoholic drink until my throat burns just as horribly as the first time you kissed my neck, and i realise you probably fucking did the same to her tonight and i want to rip my throat out because no matter how many times i scrub my skin raw, you will never leave my soul and the only thing i truly wish for, is to forget you.
