"Ma, isasama ko si Yani sa office. Sabi kasi nung staff dun, s'ya yung pumili ng menu for the restaurant." Sabi ko kay mama na nagtitingin ng papeles sa kwarto nila ni papa.
"No." Mariin na pagkakasabi ni mama.
"Ma naman, sa office naman kami pupunta at hindi sa GK3, tsaka alam n'yo naman na sa aming magkakapatid, si Yani ang nakaka-alam ng tungkol sa mga paglulutong yan." Sabi ko.
"I said no." Pagmamatigas pa rin ni mama.
"Then isasama din namin yung bodyguards n'ya." sabi ko.
Tumingin si mama sa akin, sa tingin ko ay tinitingnan n'ya kung mapapagkatiwalaan ba ako, kung hindi ko ba itatakas si Yani at papupuntahin kay Xander.
"Babantayan ko s'yang maigi." sabi ko.
"Okay, fine." sabi ni mama, "Be sure that you won't lose sight of her."
Napatingin ako sa may pintuan at nakita ko na nakatayo si Madi dun. She nodded at me before she left to go to Yani, I returned my attention to my mother and thanked her, "Thanks ma, sige po, we'll be on our way." sabi ko and then made my way to Yani's room kung nasaan si Madi na may dala-dalang damit.
"Kambal, bihisin mo 'to. Bilis!" sabi ni Madi.
Walang kagana-gana naman na kinuha ni Yani yung damit at pumasok sa banyo para mag-palit ng damit n'ya. Ng lumabas s'ya ay hindi man lang n'ya pinansin na parehas sila ng suot ni Madi, ang pag-kakaiba lang ay nagsuot si Madi ng cardigan habang si Yani pinagsuot ng fedora hat. Kung nakatalikod silang dalawa ay mapapagkamalan mo talaga na kambal sila dahil parehas na parehas ang katawan nila.
Lumabas na kami at sumunod naman sa amin yung mga body guards ni Yani, tiningnan ako ni Madi at alam na agad nito ang gagawin sa oras na sumakay kami ng sasakyan ko.
Alam kong mali 'tong gagawin ko, pero hindi ko naman kayang makita na ganito ang kapatid ko. She's been silent eversince at hindi ko na alam kung anong tumatakbo sa isip nito, I would often find her staring out in her window as if she want to jump out of it. We consider it a miracle sa tuwing magbabago ang mood n'ya at nagiging makulit ito, pero most of the time ay tahimik lamang ito, kaya nakakapag-alala talaga s'ya.
Once we were inside my car, I saw the guard entered the van to follow us. Madi was beside me in the passenger's seat while Yani was in the backseat.
"Kami." Madi called out to her and I saw her look at Madi through the rearview mirror. I then started the engine and drove off.
"Give me your fedora hat." Madi told Yani and she looked confused. I looked at the side mirror of the car and saw the van smoothly following us.
"Why?" Mabuti naman at umimik s'ya ngayon imbes na titigan lang si Madi.
"Just give it to me." Sabi naman ni Madi as she removes her cardigan and gave it to Yani who gave her the hat.
Madi put her hair up and styled it so that it will look like it was cut short. She then turned to look at me and I nodded at her. I made a stop in front of GK3 and Madi went out and run inside. As soon as the van parked in front of the entrance, I stepped on the gas and left them behind.
"Kuya?" Yani called out and she looked so confused,
"We need to get out of here, fast." I told her.
"Why?" She asked.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm taking you to Xander." Sagot ko at tsaka binilisan ang takbo papunta sa lugar kung saan mag-peperform daw ang Music Boys ng bago nilang kanta.
MADI
I entered the company casually and greeted some of the staffs inide, they smiled at me and greeted me back before they return to what they were doing.
As I walked inside, someone grabbed my hand and turned me around. Their eyes widened in shock as I gave them a questioning look.
"What are you doing here?" I asked them, "Shouldn't you be following Kami?"
All of them immediately run back to their van to find Kami, or else, they're doomed.
When they were out of sight, I sighed and took off the hat letting my hair down. I can't believe they really fell for that.
Hindi na rin ako nagtataka since matagal na namin naplano 'to ni kuya Gian. Pagkatapos ko kasing mabanggit kay kuya na may live performance sila, sinigurado ni kuya na makakapagkita sina Kami at Xander ngayon. Forget about the consequences, this is all we can do for them, they've been suffering too much.
"Madi!" I turn around and saw Jica running towards me with Johnathan trailing behind her.
Simula ng naghiwalay si Jica at Niggen, si Johnathan na yung nanliligaw sa kanya. I really don't know the whole story, pero ang pagkaka-alam ko, si Johnathan daw yung lalaking niligtas ni Jica nung bata pa sila, meaning, destiny sila. (hihi, ROMANTIC J Feels!)
"Let's go!" They nodded at me and we all went to the parking lot kung nasaan ang sasakyan ni Johnathan.
Alam nila ang tungkol sa plano namin ni kuya Gian na itakas si Kami at dalhin ito kay Xander, they agreed since nakita din nila kung anong kalagayan ng dalawa. So I asked them to take me to the location after namin mailigaw ang mga body guards ni Kami.
If only they were smart enough, they shouldn't have left earlier than me, now they won't know where Kami really is.
After a few minutes of driving, nakarating na kami sa site kung saan magaganap yung live performance.
"Thanks you two." Sabi ko sa kanila bago ako bumaba, "We owe you a lot."
"It's nothing, it's for Kami after all." Sabi naman ni Jica and she smiled at me.
I nodded at her and then went out of the car and dashed, going to the boy's dressing room.
"Hi boyfie." I greeted him as soon as I saw him sitting in the corner, looking at a paper.
"Oh, girlfie." He stood up from his seat and approached me, giving me a kiss on the cheeks.
"Did you bring it?" I asked him.
He nodded at me and took the paper bag that was sitting on the table, "What is it for?" he asked.
"I need to change my clothes." I reasoned out.
I asked Mirko to bring my extra clothes with him here, so that I can change. Baka kasi mamaya, mabuking kami ni tita, magbeastmode s'ya at pati ako ay hindi na makalapit pa kay Kami. Ayoko naman na mangyari yun kaya for safety purposes, I'll change my clothes. Para wala ding masabi yung mga guards ni Kami.
Mirko just nodded at my response and let me change my clothes in the CR.
Pagkatapos kong magpalit, agad kong napansin ang magkahiwalay na si Xander at Lewis. Both of them were to absorbed in what they were doing, or should I say, they're trying to be absorbed in what they're doing.
"They're still not in good term.?" I said, clearly stating the obvious, and looked at Mirko who just shook his head.
"Nangyari na din kasi ito before, so I can't blame them." Sabi naman ni Mirko and I just nodded.
"It's not like Lewis had a choice, and also, Kami wouldn't accept the marriage even if she didn't have her memories." I reasoned out as Mirko took the paper bag from me, "After all, Kami is a free spirit, she's not the type to be tied around."
I looked at them again at wala talaga silang pansinan, halata mo ang tensyon sa pagitan nilang dalawa.
Sighing, I took the scarf from the paper bag and looked at Mirko before wishing them goodluck for their performance, and told him that I'll be going to the studio to wait for their turn to perform.
When I arrived there, I saw Kami by the door. She looked so pale, it was like blood was drained out of her body.
"Did they follow you?" tanong ni kuya Gian ng makalapit na ako sa kanila.
"I'm not sure, pero before I left the company, sinigurado ko na wala na sila." Sabi ko at tumango naman si kuya Gian.
I handed kuya Gian the scarf and he immediately put in on Kami's head to hide her face, "Let's go." He then lead us to the crowd where it won't be easy to spot us.
The stage was already set for the perfomance of the boys, soon they will come out of the stage and perform their latest single.
After a few minutes, the show started, they showed a VCR to the audience and we saw them positioning themselves on stage. And when the lights turned on, agad na nagkagulo ang mga tao, the fans screamed at the top of their lungs cheering for the boys.
Nilingon ko si Kami na ngayon ay hawak hawak ang balabal na nakabalot sa kanya para hindi s'ya makita ng mga guards na humahanap sa kanya ngayon. Alam kong sa iisang tao lang naman s'ya nakatingin ngayon.

My head immediately snap back on the stage. No way, this song. It can't be, right?

I looked at Kami who was still looking at them, sobrang seryoso n'yang nakatingin sa kanila. But I'm a bit worried in the fact that she's so pale right now. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba narealize n'ya kung tungkol saan yung kanta, o dahil sa stress n'ya nitong mga nakaraan na araw.
[Mirko] I dust my clothes and stand up, as far as I was cheated, just watch (Simon: no way)

I knew it, it was this song. The song that made everything between Lewis and Xander even worse.
Tinanggal ni Kami ang balabal na nasa ulo n'ya at bakas sa mukha n'ya ang pagkabigla. Right at that moment, she knew, who the song is for, what is it for, why it was composed and sang right now.
It was a declaration, a war between two great friends who ended up loving the same woman. But in this case, a conflict rises between them when the woman was in love with the other while she's already destined to marry the other.

"Kami?" Nag-aalala kong tawag sa kanya but her eyes were fixed on him, the only person who's making her like this.
I then notice that she was taking in deep breaths, a sign that she was having a difficulty in breathing. Agad na kumunot ang noo ko habang pinagmamasdan ko si Kami, her face was showing me that she was in pain, she was having a hard time, pero hindi ko alam kung alin ang dahilan.
[Xander] The day she left you acted like you didn't know anything and told me to forget everything

I looked back on stage and I saw Xander looking at us, particularly at Kami, nakita n'ya na si Kami, but since when?
Pain registered in his eyes as he looked away from Kami, patuloy lang sila sa pagpeperform nila kahit alam kong ramdam na nila ang tensyon mula kay Xander.
"Madi..." Napalingon ako kay Kami who held my arm and called me, she was looking down and had her eyes closed.
"Are you okay?" I asked her but she looked at me, she was as pale as a ghost.
"I'm going to the comfort room." Paalam n'ya sa akin, pero kitang kita ko ang panghihina n'ya.
"I'll go with—"
I don't know what happened, bigla na lang nagkagulo, and the last thing I remember ay nilingon ko si Xander na nakatingin sa amin.
THUNDER
I didn't know how I should react when I saw her. Am I just seeing things?
Nagpatuloy lang kami sa pagpeperform, pinilit kong ilayo ang atensyon ko sa kanya, pero bumabalik at bumabalik pa din ang mga mata ko papunta sa kanya.
The moment my eyes met hers, gusto ko ng bumaba ng stage at puntahan s'ya, itakas s'ya at ilayo s'ya mula dito. Pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko, dahil sa ngayon ay hindi ko pa din sigurado kung anong gagawin ko.
Napansin ko ang pagtungo n'ya, nakaharap sa kanya si Madi at mukhang kinakausap s'ya nito. But as she turn around to leave, she suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground.
[Lewis] Goodbye...
Nakita ko na medyo nagkagulo sa parte kung nasaan sina Mia, at nakita ko din na binuhat s'ya ni kuya Gian palabas ng venue.
Madi turned towards us, she had a worried look on her face before she turn to follow them out of the venue.

After the performance, namatay na yung ilaw sa stage kaya agad na nagsilapitan sa akin sina kuya Simon. "Si Kami yun di ba?" Sabi nito sa akin.
Nakatingin lamang ako sa pintuan kung saan sila lumabas. Hindi kasi ako mapakali, bakit bigla na lamang s'yang hinimatay? Okay lang ba s'ya? Kumakain ba s'ya ng tama?
"If I knew that Madi brought her here, I should've told you sooner." Sabi naman ni Mirko at inakbayan ako.
Hindi ko na alam ang nangyari, ang alam ko na lang ay hinila na ako nina kuya Simon paalis ng stage pabalik sa back-stage. Habang hinihila nila ako, ang tanging nasa isip ko lang ay kung paano n'ya ako tiningnan kanina, kung paanong nagtama ang mga mata namin, kung paano n'ya ako tiningnan na para bang may gusto s'yang sabihin.
Sobrang naguguluhan na ako sa nangyayari, sobrang nasasaktan. I took the risk and grabbed another chance with love, but this is all I got.
I was d*mn happy, was I too selfish to wish for another happiness? Is it too cruel for me to just think of my happiness and not the others? Was that really bad for me to be experiencing this.
Nasuntok ko ang pader na ikinagulat ng mga tao sa backstage. Naramdaman ko ang isang kamay sa balikat ko at nilingon ko kung sino ito.
"Put all your trust in her." He said looking into my eyes, "You were the person who truly taught her how to love, so trust her and keep believing in her love for you."
"What do you know?" Inis na sabi ko, hanggang ngayon kasi ay hindi pa din kami okay, nakaka-g*go kasi na si Lewis na naman ang pwedeng umagaw sa kanya.
"I don't know anything much..." He sighed as he removed his hand from my shoulder, "But what I do know is, Kami is willing to sacrifice eveything she have... for you." Sabi nito bago ito umalis at lumapit kina kuya Simon na pinapanuod lamang kami.
My hand curled into a fist, hearing him say that makes me really mad at myself.
Was I really doubting her love for me? Iniisip ko ba talaga na kaya s'yang agawin sa akin ni Lewis?
What the hell, Thunder?!
Napasandal na lamang ako sa pader at napa-upo, hindi ko na alam nag iisipin ko. Agad na nangilid ang luha ko. Bumalik na naman sa isip ko kung paano n'ya ako tiningnan kanina, and it hit me.
Her eyes, her eyes was actually telling me...
'I love you.'
Sh*t! I need to chase her, I'm pretty sure sa ospital ang deretso nila.
"Boys, stand-by muna kayo." Sabi ng isang staff sa amin.
F*ck, bakit ngayon pa.
Halos sabunutan ko na ang sarili ko, tiningnan ko sina kuya Simon at nakatingin lang sila sa akin bago nila tiningnan ang isa't isa.
They heaved a deep sigh before turning to me, "Go on, Xander. Kami na ang bahala dito."
And with that, I dashed out of the venue.
