I was awoken by the sound of my so-called farther screaming my name at the top of his lungs to come and make breakfast but I just ignored him and went back to sleep but just as my eyes were about to shut I heard the my "bedroom" door open and my so-called farther barging through it grabbing me out of my bed and throwing me downstairs with my so-called sisters laughing at me so I got up and walked over to kitchen to make breakfast for everyone and as I was halfway cooking my breakfast I stared hummingh a song that I heard when I was "allowed" to go into the town but of course my "farther" came and slapped me round the head for humming and as he says "no having fun" cause acourding to him I am a monster and a monster should not have fun so I shut my outh and put all their food on plates and put it on the table and this was my life I still didnt understand why they hated me so much but I all I knew was that after the death of summer everything changed and they just started beating me even Qrow joined in some times but in the middle of my thoughts I felt a pain in my head and fell to the floor after a minute of them screaming at me I got back up and said in a very slow and dead voice
Y/N: I'm sorry I fell I just head a really bad headache.
taiyang: no one cares you little monster also you knocked my coffee over and for that, you need to pay.
When he said that I just stood there in agony waiting for it all to end while my sisters just stood there laughing at me and then Taiyang came back into the room with his fists up and started hitting me in the chest, face, mouth, and legs but I just stood there and took it as it was my everyday life but thank god the time had just reached 8:00 o'clock and the two sisters had to go to school at signal which left me with some alone time to go see summers grave even if I could escape I would never survive on my own in the wild with the grimm and bandits so I could only stay here and live with abuse and pain so with the amount of time that I had left I ran to summers grave and just started talking
Y/N: Hey mo... well I guess I shouldn't call you mom cause they found out would probably be dead before I even knew what hit me so let's restart. Hi Summer just thought I would catch you up on whats been going on dads been going on missions again well for yang and ruby it would be dad for me Taiys be going on missions again, oh and rubys been accepted to signal she has three more years until she goes to bacon so that's fun and yang well yang shes very angry around me problem cause Taiys been telling everyone ima monster don't know what he means by that but I don't really care anymore but as for me I well I haven't done anything I did want to go to signal but Qrow or Taiy won't let me, oh and before I forget Qrows been on a very long mission I dont care everyones worrioed I dont know why but you know them well you dont anymore well better get going or theres going to be anover beeting instore for me.
As I was walking back to the house saw what looked to be about ten to eleven Grimm running at me and after seeing that I ran to the house as fast as my legs could carry me ran through the front door slammed it behind and ran straight to my "room" and just then Taiy came in front of the door of the house walked in ran up to my room and started shouting at me.
Taiy: Why is everything downstairs a mess you little brat.
Y/N:...
Taiy: Well you gonna speak or sit in the corner like the trash you are
Y/N: shut up
Taiy: What did you just say
Y/N: I said SHUT UP
After doing that and calming down I realized what I had done and what was about to happen next and just as I thought I heard a slash but I didn't feel anything as I reopened my eyes I saw a man with grey hair and a green scarf ( see where I'm going with this ) and next to him was a woman with blonde hair and a what looked like a whip and from the exhaustion made my body just shut down
Ozpins pov
After hitting Taiy I said to him
Ozpin: I'm very disappointed in you hurting this boy just for summers death.
Taiyang: Ozpin what are you doing here? I was just punishing him for shouting back at me that's all
Glynda: actually Taiyang we have been watching you for some time and we have seen everything you have done to this boy not to mention getting yang and ruby to join in beating him so after seeing this we have decided to take y/n away from you and your family
Ozpin: Yes what she said also you may want to watch your self as the void is starting to reopen and with that, the abyss watcher will reawaken and if they find out what you have done to artorias as the son they will come for you.
So without letting Taiyang say anything else me and Glynda took the boy got on the ship and left to bacon.
Ruby pov
Me and yang were walking home as dad said he had to deal with some things and as I was thinking yang said to me
Yang: so you think our "brothers" been causing trouble again with dad?
Ruby: Probably and I don't know about you but I can't wait to see the look on his face after what dad does to him
Yang: Me too
Just as we got home we heard dad crying so we ran in and found dad on the floor with a bit of y/ns clothes with him me and yang said to dad
Yang/Ruby: dad where is y/n and if he's done anything to you we will beat him into the ground.
Taiyang: no don't he...hasn't done...anything...wrong and plus ozpion took him
after hearing this me and yang were shocked after hearing dad stutter but mostly that y/n left but then me and yang ran to our room to cry about it and after what we've done to him we did not blame him but we were so lost without him.

It had been six years since Ozpion had got me out of that hell hole and sent me to a better family with Pyrrha Nikos as my step sister so that was fun but today was not what I expected so I was walking to my regular store dust till dawn to by some dust obviously and as I walked in I walked to the right to see a girl with headphones in and with a red cape which looked very familier of couse I was a quiete person and didnt want to disturb her so I just got a book from the shelf and waited for my order of dust and put some headphones in and started lisening to my favourite song.
and halfway through the music I saw a man with what looked to be a machete in his hand but I just went back to my book until he started talking to the girl who looked about one year older than me and just as about to say to the guy to back off the girl pulled out a scythe and shot him through a window and I was impressed until I looked into her eyes just to see that it was ruby rose and the man in the stupid tux said well get her and with the amount of boardem that mwas in me I whiseld for them tocome over here and half of them did so I drew out my sowred and dagger and got in my fighting stance and maneged to take them out in two swings hopeing not to kill them which was always a possibolity with my fighting style and after that I realized the white tux man had ran climbed up the ladder on an apartment complex and with this knolodge jumped up and as I was about to say stop little ruby rose said it before me ( oh and by the way your 14 and 1/2 while ruby is 15 ) but just as I was about to rush him a bullhead came up and white tux guy juped in it and said.
Roman: Well red and massive sword guy as much fun as this meeting was I must take my leave but here's a little present.
And just as he said that he through a red dust crystal at us and I jumped out the way without ruby cause I didn't care what would happen to her but of course she survived all thanks to Glynda I was a little shocked by the fact that Glynda was here but wherever trouble is she always goes to sort it out so as I was kind of useless in this situation cause I had no means to attack the Bullhead I just stood there watching.

me and ruby were in what looked like an interrogation room and after Glynda's extreme loud talking to my saviour came in ozpin the great as I called him for saving me but I was still very angry that I was in the same room as my "sister" and of the fact that I was sitting right next to her.
Ozpin: Ruby Rose You have silver eyes and oh and Y/N we meet again.
when you looked to your left you saw rubys face drop after hearing your name and then look at you with saddened eyes you just looked back at ozpin with eyes of death.
Ozpin: Well anyway tell me miss rose were did you learn to do this.
Ruby in a sad voice: At signal academy.
Ozpin: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons designed
ruby in her usual voice: well one teacher my uncle Qrow.
Ozpin: so what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing a school designed to slay monsters
Y/N: I think you misplaced adorable with monster
Ruby: Well I want to be a huntress you see I only have 2 more years at signal and then I'm going to apply to bacon.

And with that, I left to go home but of course, once I got home I got bombarded with questions from my sister and told her everything that happened but mostly the fact that I was going to becon she was hesitant at first saying I may get hurt and stuff like that put she finally went to bed and so did I.
