Will’s(Solace) P.O.V
I’m walking back to Annabeth now with her results; even though they were done a while ago, I have no idea how to do this. She won’t like the news but I must break it to her, gently. She has a right to know. I walked up to her and said “Annabeth, I know this may be the last thing you want to hear but I must tell you, that vomiting was caused by a child in your womb.”
She looked at me, for what felt like forever. “You don’t mean-“She was interrupted by Luke and Percy barging through the door. “Doesn’t mean what?” Asked Percy, with an expression of concern across his face. I looked at Annabeth and she gave me a look. She was trying to tell me not to tell them and trying to cope with all this I blurted out. “Annabeth is pregnant, OK!” and then I ran.
Annabeth’s P.O.V
Percy got a large smirk across his face. “Annabeth this is great, it’s my dream. Me and you raising a child together.” He stopped, probably after noticing I wasn’t so joyful. “Percy, I don’t know if it’s yours. I’m sorry. But I hope that Luke is the father, I want to raise it with him. Since I am with him now. ” I felt so terrible. Luke looked at Percy and said “I’m sorry buddy, would you like to get a test done to see who it’s for?” And with that the test went underway.
3 Weeks Later
Luke’s P.O.V
The results are back and as I walk back to the infirmary I couldn’t help but wonder what is to come. I walked in seeing Percy already there. Annabeth yelled across the room “I’ve seen the results.” At that I ran and stopped to give Annabeth a kiss on the cheek. “Well whose child is it?” I asked confidently. But my confidence was all crushed and gone by the time I heard Annabeth tell us that it was Percy’s child, but she also said even though he was the father she wanted me to be the dad, the one who would raise it. She didn’t want the child growing up with a father that does reckless things without thinking. After that we left Annabeth and she had a rest.
Right as we stepped out of the infirmary Percy clicked his pen and threw himself on me. But just when he was about to kill me he gave me a hug which really confused me. He gave me a HUGE apology and after that long day I summoned or called upon my father to tell him the great news
