lightly grabbing your chin
making you peel your eyes
away from the meteor shower
and look at me.
did you know what was coming?
i leaned in towards your soft lips
and planted my own
onto yours.
i kissed your fallen stars away
and you kissed the smoke
form my lungs away.
but it wasn't enough
to stop time.
for the clock was still ticking.
