"Damn it!" I said looking at my now wet clothes and shoes.
"Shit!"
I looked up to see a curly brown haired guy.
"I AM SO SORRY!! I wasn't paying attention!" I blurted.
I went to help him pick up his skateboard that he was holding before I rammed into him like a complete idiot. I put my hand down to pick up his skateboard, but I guess he had the same idea. When our hands touched, we looked at each other.
Dark brown eyes, little freckles around under his eyes, a hella sharp jawline, and a silver nose ring.
It was just a little moment, an interesting moment of what felt like forever.
Wait.
I then pulled my hand away realizing that he's a complete stranger.
"Again, I am so so so sorry!" I said and got up.
"No it's okay! I should've been paying attention, I was distracted at my shoe lace, it was untied." He said as he was picking up his skateboard.
His face changed to a light shade of pink.
"That's funny, I was actually looking at my untied shoelace too." I laughed.
"Hey uh Skylar." Interrupted Brandon.
Oh crap, I forgot about him.
When I looked over at Brandon, he almost looked/seemed jealous... hmmmm.
A jealous flirt/player. Interesting.
"We should probably get you home so you can change." Brandon suggested.
"Uh yeah you're right. Uhm bye...." I began to say.
"Jack!! Yo buddy!" Screamed a guy skating on a skateboard who had nice light brown hair, he looks like he's 12... max 16.
Well that made it easy to figure out his name.
"Jack." I finished.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Skylar." I smiled.
"Well, see ya Skylar." He smirked.
When I looked at Brandon, he was obviously jealous. We walked away and towards his car. I looked back to Jack, and the younger kid Zach, who must be his younger brother. I turned back around as Brandon opened the car door for me and shut it when I got in. He then started the car.
"That Josh guy was weird back there, huh?" Brandon asked as he started leaving the parking lot.
"You mean Jack? It's okay, it was my fault, I shouldn't have been distracted."
"But he ran into you."
"Yeah... oh well, I'll probably never run into or see him ever again anyway so no biggie." I said to make him feel better.
"Yeah probably not." He kinda smiled.
"Anyway, I don't think I should go over to your house. I think I should just go home so I can shower and change."
"You could always shower at my house." He looked over and winked.
"Oh gee, I wonder what would happen after." I rolled my eyes.
"Hmm..." He daydreamed.
"Hey pervert, eyes on the road!"
"Sorry... but I wonder what it would be like if..."
"Brandon!"
"Alright alright, I'll take you home." He said laughing.
When we got to my house, we opened the car door for me again. Geez, this guy and opening doors.
"Thank you Brandon. I actually kinda had a good time."
"No thank you, and me too. We should do this more often." He winked.
"We'll see." I teased. "I'll see you tomorrow Brandon."
He pulled me in and gave me a hug.
Damn, he's a good hugger.... probably a good kisser too but that's not gonna happen.
"Bye sugar." He pulled away and left.
Jack
Before Jack And Skylar Met
"Hey Jack, what are you gonna do today?" Zach asked as he plopped next to me on the couch.
"Uh netflix... As usual. You should know this by now Zach." I laughed scrolling through Instagram.
"Let's go skate around town, maybe go grab a smoothie or something."
I looked up.
Really? Zach skateboarding? Okay, I'll take it.
"Alright, the Flash will have to wait. I saw a Jamba Juice a couple blocks away, and I'm in the mood for a...."
"Pink Star." We say at the same time.
We grabbed our skateboards and left the house. We skated for about 20 minutes until we saw the Jamba Juice.
"Jack, how are you going so fast!?" Zach asked shouting behind me.
"I'm not, you're just slow Herron!" I shouted back.
We finally made it to the Jamba Juice, well actually, I did since Zach was going so freaking slow. Idk how this guy gets girls, he's so slow.
"I'm gonna go order Zach, take you're time!" I shouted to him, who was about 200 feet away.
I got off my skateboard and kicked it up so I could grab it. I held it horizontally beside my waist and started walking along the sidewalk until I looked down at my feet and saw that my shoelace was untied. I kept walking and just stared at it.
"I'll tie it in there." I said to myself.
Then
BAM
"Damn it!" A girl shouted.
"Shit." I said looking at my drenched black shirt.

"Over here Zach!" I said waving my arm.
"Geez, you're fast." Zach said out of breath.
I looked over in Skylar's direction, she was already in the car leaving.
"Hey Jaaaackkk." Zach said waving his hand in front of my face.
"What?"
"You zoned out there buddy. Why are you all wet? And..." He then sniffed me. "You smell like a Pink Star, did you spill it on yourself?" He asked.
I smelled my shirt. He's right. I guess the secret menu isn't such a secret anymore.
"Uh no. I just crashed into a girl and her smoothie" I said scratching the back of my neck.
"OoOoOo. Was she hot?"
"Well I'm pretty sure she has a boyfriend, she just left with him."
"Just answer the question. Also, it could be her brother.... or idk maybe just a friend, just a wild thought." Zach said looking at me funny.
"Definitely and whatever, let's go back home, I need to change."
"HOLD UP! I JUST SKATED LIKE 9393 BLOCKS FOR JAMBA JUICE AND YOU NOW WANT TO SKATE BACK SO YOU CAN CHANGE? NO, WE ARE GETTING OUR PINK STARS!" Zach yelled.
"Okay okay. Geez Zach. Stop shouting, you're making a scene."
"YoUrE mAkInG a ScEnE." Zach said mocking me.
As we entered Jamba Juice, all of the employees looked at us. Idk, probably because Zach was acting like a 6 year old throwing a tantrum. Sigh. This kid sometimes.
