Sorry for not updating in a while. Also there will be more Prinxiety next chapter. I just really wanted to write this one. Sorry about all the speaking but I need the chapter to start before he's revealed. Also sorry but some of it is a re-telling of the vid so feel free to skip some. Established Prinxiety.
Virgil's P.O.V~
We're filming the latest video but I've noticed something odd about Patton. He wants him to lie. Patton never wants Thomas to lie. Ever. I glare at him slightly trying to figure out what's wrong. He ignores it and keeps ranting however.
"Woah I'm so proud of you Thomas." 'Patton' rolls his eyes and claps sarcastically. I was right this isn't Patton. "Thank you?" I rolled my shoulders back looking from Thomas to 'Patton'. "I knew something smelled fishy." Logan looks up at me. "I also smell it. I told Thomas to take the trash out." I roll my eyes slightly. "No. I mean yes it does smell bad, but I was talking about Patton." I gestured towards him. He nods his head. "Oh you mean how he's clearly..." Patton snaps his hand up forcing Logan to slap his hand over his mouth. Roman looks between the two. "Ooh I get it now." "I don't! What is happening?!" Thomas freaks out a little bit. "You have to give us permission first." I sigh inwardly before explaining. "There are sides to everyone that they'd prefer not to know about. But you're the boss Thomas." I look around at the other's quickly. "Any information you want to know, you can know. You just have to be open to hearing it." Roman takes over for me. "In other words, would you like to learn something new about yourself Thomas?" Logan nods his head rapidly. Thomas's head snaps between all of us. "I don't... know." 'Patton' brings his hands up to either side of his face. "Oooh I don't know either Thomas, you might not like find." Thomas snaps between us again. "Fine tell me!" Logan rips his hand away from his mouth, points straight at 'Patton' and screeches "Deceit!"
He immediatley drops his disguise and stares straight at me. I meet his stare with a glare of my own. "What?!" Thomas stumbles backwards. "Deceit?" He takes a small step forwards. He begins speaking, before turning to Thomas. "Who's she? Never heard of her." Roman groans beside me. "Ugh, I hate this guy and his creepy snake face." He gestures towards him. "However he is very kind." That guillable idiot. "Love the new outfit Roman." He turns to him. "Thank you." Logan goes to say sonething but is stumped by Roman's stupidity. Deceit turns back to me. "And Virgil I adore the more intense eyshadow. It totally doesn't make you look like a raccoon." I lean towards him. "Nice gloves, did you just finish washing some dishes?" He looks down at his hand quickly. "Yes..."
Thomas throws his hands infront of us and once again turns to us three. "Why didn't I know about him until now?" I need to say this as delicatley as possible. "He had you convinced you're an honest person." Great job Virgil. Not the way to go about that. Thomas looks at me disheartened. "But... I am an honest person." Deceit leans forwards. "Oh you are Thomas. You are a good person. Everybody says so."
I can tell Logan is beginning to get fed up with him now. "No one is a completely honest person." Thomas looks down. "But I try to be..." Logan points at him quickly. "That's a more honest statement. Given all the variations of dishonesty. Lies of omission, lies of comission, etc cetera. Lies an be fairly difficult to avoid. According to Pamela Meyer, author of 'Liespotting' on any given day you may be lied to bewteen 10 to 200 times." He continues making gestures with his hands while rambling. "She's also stated that strangers lie three times withing the first 10 minutes of meeting each other!" He gestures to Thomas again. "An average unmarried couple? Lies to one another in one out of every three interactions. Very few people are always honest 100% of the time. They're a very rare breed." Logan finishes his rant causing Thomas to start looking at Deciet in disbelief. "So, what, he made me think I'm a completely honest person so I didn't know he existed?!" Logan starts talking again trying to calm him down. "You place distance between who you are and the lies you tell." He points accusedly to Deciet. "He is responsible for your doing so." "Why didn't you guys tell me?" He looks at us almost hurt. Roman speaks again. "If you really don't want to know something, he can keep our mouths shut." He's very good at it too... "I can't believe that I fooled myself like that." Logan steps up again. "You don't want to believe it. That's where his power comes from. Things that you want to believe. Things that you wish were true. And things that you wish weren't." Deceit speaks up again. "What you don't know can't hurt you." "Falshood!" Logan states as calmly as he can. "Knowledge is an incomparably valuable multi-purpose tool. That is instrumental in identifying ans solving any problem! If you're worried about getting hurt, then seek knowledge. It is our greatest weapon and our greatest defense." Thomas places his hands on his hips. "Wow Logan, that's... That was really lovely. And speaking of seeking knowledge, WHERE IS PATTON?!" Thomas and Roman turn to face Deciet. Roman copies Thomas' point and yells "HOW DARE YOU STAND WHERE HE STOOD?!" Really Princey? Harry Potter? Right this second?
Deceit startes laughing evily. "You foolish dummy. I am and always HAVE BEEN Patton." He laughs evily again. "WHAT?!" Surpisingly Roman doesn't fall for it. "No.." Deceit starts picking on Thomas causing him to panic. "You have no morality." Logan is more done than I have seen him in along time. "He's... he's lying..." He pinches the bridge of his nose. "Sorry to break it to you, but-" "OW!" Patton shouts from below Deceit. "Oh." "My head." "Oh that hurt." Thomas just stares as Deceit startes jumping around a bit. "Agh, okay." "I mean, it didn't hurt me. At all." Patton jumps back up beside him. "Hey!" Just as friendly as ever I see. But it's good to have him back. "Ah, you're in my spot." Thomas throws his arms out towards him. "PATTON!" Deceit looks around at us all. "Well this all went according to plan." His eyes land on me slightly. "Surely it didn't." Roman throws his hand up in the air like usual. "Get out of here! Jack the Fibber." "All right. But you've seen the last of me." He sinks out slowly.

I sunk out of the video straight to my room. Normally I hang around the commons after a video. But I can't, not today. Not after he showed up. Not after the mention of the others. It took me years to get away from them. I wasn't as 'bad' as they are. So I was seen as weaker. I wasn't treated well when I was in the back of Thomas' mind. I wanted nothing more than to be friends with these three. But that wish just made my 'life' worse. So to see him appear and have him see me hanging around the other's. If he takes me back. It's other. I'll be forgotten. I can't go back. I can't. I need these three. Thomas needs me. Logan is as close to a best friend as he is able to have, Patton is the best parental figure anyone could want and Roman is the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. I need these guys. I can't leave them I can't go back I just can't. I didn't realise I was drained until my legs gave way and I collapsed onto the floor with a thump. I didn't realise that I was crying till I felt salty tears running down my face. And I didn't realise that I was shaking until I felt two arms wrap themselves around me. "...gil... Virgil... babe?" I tune in to the voice to see Roman hovering above me. Wiping away my tears. I lean in to his touch and into his shoulder. "Roman, please. I can't. I can't don't make me. Please."
Roman's P.O.V~
He buries his face in the crook of my neck. "Please." I tighten my grip on his waist slightly. "Baby, please. Tell me what's wrong." He takes a deep breath. "You'll hate me." I shake ny head. "No, no Virgil I won't I promise. Talk to me. Please." He takes another shaky breath. "I come from the same part of the mind as... him. As Deceit. I lived in the back of the mind with him and the other's before I got moved up here." I feel a few tears drop on to my shoulder but can't find it in myself to care. Not when they're Virgil's tears. "It was awful. Roman. It was terrible. It was dark and empty and echoey. I couldn't go a single day without some kind of attack. They all hated me down there. The others. Deceit, Depression all of them. Depression was the only one who didn't seem to hate me but it was still horrible." He buried his face into my neck again. "I spent so many years hoping I would be moved up here. To live in this part of the mind. The part of the mind with lights, and actual beds and nice people. I dreamt of it for so, so long..." I pulled him closer. "But?" Another shaky breath. "But... they hated me for that. I wasn't as 'dark' as they were. As they are. They only care for themsleves or to keep Thomas alive, in turn keeping them live. I didn't. I cared for Thomas as an actual person. I would sneak as far into this part of the mind as I could at early hours in the morning just to try and see what it would be like to live in a place where I was wanted." He breaks down again and wraps his arms around me, the sobs wracking through his small figure. I covered his ears lightly. "PATTON!" He came running in to the room immediatley. "Oh my god! Virgil are you okay." He nodded weakly from where he was sat in my lap. I shook my head at him. "No he's not. Have you got any cookies?" Patton shakes his head solenmly. "Give me 15 minutes and I'll have sone fresh ones though." I nid at him gently. "Thanks Patton."
I pick him up and place him onto his bed. Not even 5 seconds after he places himself back in my lap. I don't complain and wrap my arms around him again silently." He leans into my chest slowly. As if he thinks I'll stop him. "Ro...Roman..." I look down at him. "Yes Virge?" He turns around so that he's kneeling between my legs. "You... you don't hate me do you? Know that you know I cone from the same place as them." I pull him into another hug hands finding their way to his waist naturally like they were made to rest there. "Virgil. Look at me." I lift his chin slightly and bring him into a soft kiss. "I could never, ever hate you okay? The argument we were having over how Thomas should handle the Joan situation was nothing alright. And what you just told me doesn't matter to me. You could have come from Deceit himself and I would still love you. Okay?" He nods at me before snuggling back into my chest.
"Oh, Ro?" I look down at him, he's staring at the opposite wall. "Yeah?" He blinks a few times before speaking. "I love you." I chuckle slightly. "I love you two babe." I place a soft kiss on the back of his neck before playing with his hair.
