After Bella and I finished cleaning and fixing her truck I decided to go for a walk. "I'll be back Bells!" I call out and she yells back. "Okay be safe and take mace!" I chuckle because I never in my life have used mace. As I walk down the road I see cars pass by me and I relax. Suddenly Carlisle is right beside me walking too. "Oh my gosh! Carlisle don't do that! you scared the hell out of me." "my apologies, i did not mean to frighten you." his politeness makes me smile and i melt. "its okay... just don't do it again." i tell him. " i make no promises." he says smirking. "however Sophie its not safe to be out here alone." i smile. "yes well i just couldn't help myself since its such a beautiful day." he smiles at my answer. "why don't we get you home Sophie Alice saw rain coming." i simply nod my head knowing Alice's visions are never wrong. then we begin the short walk back to my house. we finally arrive at my house.. "hey Carlisle, why aren't you at work?" i ask him. he reply's "Alice saw a vision of someone hurting you and she called me." "The nomad." I state simply and he nods his head. i sigh in frustration. "great now i cant even go out without a bodyguard!" I yell in frustration. suddenly Carlisle receives a call. "answer it." i say as i run my hands through my hair in frustration. he nods his head and answers it. from what i could gather, there is an emergency at the hospital and hes needed. "go." i whisper since hes still on the phone he then nods and leaves. sighing i head upstairs into my room and flop on my bed. a soft knock echos throughout my room and i say "come in." the door opens and reveals Bella. i sit up on my elbows and ask her "what do you need?" she smiles and says "cant a sister just visit her sis?" i reply with a simple "no." then i smile and laugh. "okay fine i do have a question... you and Carlisle are very close." she begins. "yes Bella its called dating." i say sarcastically. she scowls playfully. "you know what i mean. now for the question... are you and Carlisle you know.." she trails off. "no i dont know bells, what?" she turns bright red as she says "sexually active."
