You yearned to scream,

Never escape your mouth.

Your eyes spoke so much more

And I understood your message.

The red, swollen, beady eyes,

Started to tear up in sadness,

Each droplet, a million emotions.

I was pierced by realization,

That you did love me.

I needed to stop.

I was saved by my reflection.
