•Ali's POV•
I sit back down with my coffee. It's kinda awkwardly silent for a minute or two. I'm trying to think of a conversation starter. I wonder if he thinks i'm weird because i've been staring at him.
"So, what did you order?" I ask.
"I got a mocha cookie crumble frappuccino." He replies. So white girl. I snort. How attractive, Ali.
"What?" He asks with a smile.
"Oh, nothing." I say.
"Julio, mocha cookie crumble frappuccino." The man at the pick up counter says. Julio gets up, gets his frappuccino and sits back down. He sips his drink.
"So," he starts. "Tell me about you."
I say, "Well, my name is Ali Milter. I am 16. I go to starbucks a lot."
"Tell me something about you." I say, trying to act like I dont know every little thing about him.
"My name is Julio Gonzalez. I am also 16. I go to starbucks sometimes, not a lot." He replies.
His phone buzzes, assuming a text message. "Well Ali, it was nice meeting you, but I have to go." He says.
"Okay." I reply sadly. "But before I leave, can I get your number?" He asks. I smile with joy.
"Sure!" I say.
He hands me his phone and I put my number in his contacts. I put my name in as 'Ali Milter😋.' I give him the phone back. He turns and walks away with his drink. Then as he walks out the door, he turns to wave at me.
