I woke up to a scream and a sound of struggle. I sat up as quickly as I could just before so,done opened the door. Shawn threw Ellington in and closed the door back quickly. He spotted me and ran to my side.
"Oh my gosh, Sadie you look terrible. It's okay I'm going to get us out baby." He sobbed.
I grabbed him and hugged him tight while wailing into his shirt. He took it off and slipped it on me so that I'd be warmer.
"We will never make it out of this alive, Ellington." I cried.
"Yes we will. Don't say that. I'm going to get us out." He replied fiercely.
"You don't understand. There is no hope of our escape."
"I promise you we will make it out of this."
That night I slept soundly. Not one nightmare slipped into my mind. I woke up feeling strong than I had in weeks and I smiled at Ellington.
"That was the first night in weeks." I smiled.
"Wow. That's truly amazing. I'm so proud, Sadie." He smiled back.
We awaited our fate for days. But nothing happened. They only exciting part was when we were given food. The rest of the time we plotted on how to escape.
Slowly, I was able to put weight back on. With my nightmares being temporarily gone, I was able to clam my self easily and focus on getting myself healthier for our escape. Little did I know that they were fattening me up for another purpose, and they weren't just going to let Ellington go free either.
