This took so long to write.

As I post this, I have hit the 24 hours of no sleep, so no updates till Saturday or Sunday as I need to catch up on sleep and work x)

I really hope you enjoy this chapter ♥

(The song is on the side :3)

The morning after I arrived home, I decided to laze around in bed. I wasn't in a mood to do much, seeing as the place was already clean thanks to my friends.

My phone buzzed and I checked the caller I.D Before smiling.

"Morning." I chirped, my mood already lifting up.

"Someone's bright n breezy this morning." Chris' voice met my ears nad I just chuckled.

"Well what can you say? To a call from you is something short of a miracle." I teased and he whined at my words. i could picture him pouting and I just grinned, even though he couldn't see me.

"Well. How about dinner tonight?"

"What time, and do I need to dress up? You know how I hate dressing up." I grumbled and he just laughed.

"You can wear casual. You don't need to impress me." I raised an eyebrow before sighing.

"Fine, what time do I have to be ready by?"

"Four thirty. Reservation is booked for five." At his words, I frowned.

"Why eating so early?" I had no problems with eating early, but the last time I was taken out on a date, We didn't eat till seven at the earliest.

"Aha. That my dear, I cannot tell you." I heard the tease in his voice and I automatically whined, not pleased by the fact that he was hiding something from me.

"Chriiiiis." I drew out his name and he chuckled.

"Not a chance. I'll see you tonight at four thirty."

"Fine." I grumbled sullenly and he just laughed before the call disconnected.

I finally moved from my bed, rolling out of my bed and landing on my feet. I stood still for a moment, letting my head clear from the sudden dizziness before I padded across to the bathroom.

I turned on the shower and left the water on a cool setting before stripping and stepping under the cool water.

It was the kind of shower that would calm you down, and keep your mind awake to think about anything and everything.

It was these kind of showers that I loved.

But for now, I savoured the nice feeling for a short time, seeing as I'd have to start getting ready for Chris to pick me up.

I opted for my plain black tank top and I decided on my black shorts, seeing as it was still hot outside. I pulled my hair back into a pony tail and slipped my Vans on.

Once I deemed myself decent, I ventured into my kitchen, to where CC was sat on the floor, looking up expectantly. I giggled at my cat before pouring him some dry biscuits.

He looked at me, almost in distaste and I chuckled before scratching his ears.

"We may have moved baby, but wet food is still tomorrow." My cat looked at me for a moment before he started to munch on his food and I made myself a cup of coffee.

Once the drink was made, I moved from the kitchen to the living room and I turned on the TV, flicking through a few channels before I spied that my childhood film Mary Poppins was on.

Not to miss a chance of sitting through my childhood once more, I left it on that channel and  let myself get lost in the film easily.

Only when did the end credits atart to roll, there was a knock at the door. So I turned the TV off and I checked the peephole to see that Chris was stood behind the door.

Without much hesitation, I opened the door and my lips pulled up into a large grin.

"You're early." I commented, and he just grinned.

"What? Can't I have half an hour with my girlfriend all to myself?" He teased and I stuck my tongue out before he pulled me into his embrace. I didn't hesitate to press my lips against his and he eagerly responded.

After a moment, we broke apart and he smiled at me, kissing the tip of my nose and I giggled.

"Now that is a very nice hello." I laughed before shoving his chest and letting him into my home.

We headed to the living room and we just curled up on the sofa together. Just us.

"So where are you taking me after dinner?" My tone was light, but he knew me better. He knew that I was incredibly curious about tonight.

"Well you haven't figured it out, so I think I'll wait to tell you. But I know for a fact that you'll enjoy my gift..." He trailed off, the smirk evident in his voice.

"Jerk." I mumbled and he just laughed.

"You know, I love it when you act childish when you don't get your own way with things. It's incredibly cute."

"And I just love it when you hide things from me." I muttered sarcastically and he grinned at me.

"But on a serious note Ki, it's one of the many qualities that's made me fall head over heels for you." his voice had grown quieter and I thought about that for a moment.

'Fall head over heels'... Was this his way of trying to tell me that he loved me? I didn't have to think about the sentence for much longer because he carried on after my stunned silence.

"What I'm trying to say Ki, is that everything that you've done, everything that you've been through, I can't deny it much longer. The longer I focused on the feeling you gave me every time I saw you, the more I came to realise what the feeling was." I could feel my heart hammering in my chest and I shifted myself so I could see him more directly.

"Ki, I love you, and I think the moment you left for San Diego, I realised this. I don't just like you, I'm in love with you." His words came out faster than expected and I struggled to comprehend what he was saying.

He loved me.

Not in a 'I love you as a friend' kind of way. But he really loved me.

I felt my heart swell somewhat and my chest ached for a moment before I smiled at him, my arms wrapping around his neck.

Burrying my face in the crook of his neck, I couldn't stop the biggest grin appearing on my lips at the fact that he loved me.

"I love you too." I mumbled against his skin.

"What was that, I didn't hear you." He teased me and I grumbled under my breath before I pulled back and smiled.

"I love you too." Speaking the feelings made them seem so much more real. I wasn't prepared when he kissed me and caught me by surprise.

But I kissed him back.

It didn't take too long for the kiss to get steamier and before I knew it, my back was pressed against the couch and Chris was hovered just above me.

I felt the alarm bells ring in my head and I moved my arms so that I could press against his chest gently. He seemed to get the message and broke the kiss.

"Sorry, I-" I placed a finger over his lips, and he fell silent.

"Don't be sorry. I'm not ready for that yet, but you'll know when I am." I grinned at him and moved my finger from his lips. Chris just smiled at me and placed a gentle kiss on my lips before placing his forehead on mine.

"I'm more than happy to wait gorgeous." I blushed at the comment, but I didn't deny it nor did I argue back.

If I was gorgeous in his eyes, then so be it.

I shifted myself so that Chris could lie down next to me and I let my body curl against his as we lay there in silence, savouring the moment together before I looked at the time.

"It's four thirty. Don't you have a schedule?" I teased and he nuzzled his face into the back of my neck.

"I'm ready if you are." I sat myself up, checking my hari with my hands quickly before I stood up, pulling Chris with me who groaned as I pulled him off the couch.

"C'mo-on." I whined. "It's not every day you get to take your girlfriend out because we're both so busy." I pouted and he sighed, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck.

"Your pout is going to be the death of me." He muttered and I hid my smile as I tugged his arm.

"C'mon then little miss impatient.2 He teased before we left my apartment, heading downstairs to his car. When we reached his car, he turned into a gentleman and opened my door for me, holding my hand as I slid in and sat down.

He closed the door and headed around the car, causing me to giggle.

Once we were both buckled up, he drove off and I recognised some of the streets which I had walked down many a time. I tried to figure out where he was taking me, but I came up with nothing as he made another turn.

Only when did we pull up to a 50's style diner, I couldn't help but grin.

"If I had worn my whote dress and curled my hair, I would have fit right in." I teased and he just laughed.

"Yes, but I wouldn't have you ruin that beautiful dress afterwards." He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes as he got out of the car.

He motioned for me to wait, and I did so. Once again, he held his hand out to me and helped me out of the car before looping our arms.

We arrived to the diner and the waiter who was stood at the desk to welcome the customers looked at us with an odd look before greeting us warmly.

"Reservation?" Chris nodded and smiled.

"Mora." The waiter scanned down the list of names which was hidden behind the podium before smiling up at us.

"If you would like to follow me please?" He picked up two menus and led us through the restraunt, finally reaching a secluded area which had a few tables dotted around, obviously created for privacy of any couples who wished to have a quiet meal.

"Your waiter will be out to collect your drinks and orders in a few moments." He offered a warm smile before turning on his heel and disappearing.

"You know, I would have dressed a little nicer." I grumbled and he just laughed.

"Kii, you are beautiful no matter what, so hush." I rolled my eyes at him before I looked through the menu, deciding on what food I wanted.

After making my decision, I placed the menu aside and watched Chris carefully, a smile tugging on my lips when he looked up from his menu, his gaze holding mine.

"It's rude to stare you know." He teased and I just scoffed.

"I have every right to stare at my boyfriend." I smirked and his lips turned into a grin.

Our waiter chose that moment to appear.

"My name's Evan, and I'll be your waiter toni-holy crap." His eyes widened at Chris and I felt a smug grin form on my lips.

Both me and Chris laughed at Evan's outburst and the poor boy flushed bright red.

"I apologise, that was out of line for me to just say that." He mumbled and I grinned at him.

"Don't worry Evan. It's normal for some people to react like that." I giggled again and he offered me a shy grin.

"Still, I wish they'd pre-warned me that I was going to be serving my drumming hero and his girl." At this, it was Chris who grinned at the boy.

"Nice to know that there are some kids taking after me. And it's not their fault. I used my proper last name instead of my stage name. But it's nice to meet you kiddo."

I watched Evan grin brightly as he pulled the pad and pen out, ready to order.

"I'll start over. Hello, my name is Evan and I'll be taking your orders tonight." We looked at each other before chuckling.

"I'll have a coke and the Pasta Carbonara." I watched as he hasitly wrote down my order before turning to Chris expectantly.

I couldn't help but smile at the fact that the boy was in awe that his hero was sat in front of him.

"Make that two cokes and I'll have the Chilie Con Carne." He closed the menu and placed it on top of mine. Evan picked them up before nodding his head.

"The shouldn't be too long." He grinned at us before leaving us to ourselves and I chuckled quietly.

"What are you so smiley about?" Chris raised his eyebrows at me and I leaned forward, placing my arms on the table.

"That boy looked starstruck. I found it incredibly cute if I'm honest." He grinned at me before leaning forward and kissing my lips lightly, making me blush.

"Well, it's nice to know that there are some fans who don't have a massive freak out and break down." He murmured and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"So do I get to know where we're going? Or at least tell me the whereabouts?" Chris contemplated for a moment before smiling.

"It's a place you will love very much." He grinned at me, and I groaned.

"You really aren't going to tell me, are you?" I pouted and he shook his head.

Evan reappeared with our drinks and offered warm smiles to both of us before retreating back to the kitchen.

We sat insilence for a while, him just holding my hands on the table until Evan returned with our food. I watched his cheeks turn slightly pink and I hid my laugh by coughing.

"Here's your Pasta Carbonara and here is your Chilie Con Carne. Enjoy your evening." He grinned at us both and we both returned the smile before he left and we dug into our food.

"You know what this reminds me of?"

"Mm?" Chris kept his mouth closed, seeing as he'd just taken a forkful of the chilie.

"Our first date, which you didn't have the balls to ask me out on." I grinned and scooped up some pasta and he turned red before laughing.

"I'm going to have to make up for that, aren't I?" I nodded my head and he smirked. "Just you wait." He muttered, taking in another forkful of the food.

We finished our food in silence and Chris held my gaze as we waited for our plates to be collected.

"Would you like the bill?" Evan's voice snapped me back to the reality and I shot Chris a grin who nodded his head ever so slightly.

Once Evan was out of ear shot, I raised an eyebrow at Chris, who had a cheeky smile on his lips.

"What are you thinking..?" I trailed off, my eyes narrowing as he kept the smile on his face.

"You'll see.." Was all he said before going silent. I raised an eyebrow at him and rolled my eyes as we waited for Evan to walk back over.

He arrived back with the bill and Chris pulled a small card from his pocket. Writing something on it, he slipped it in with the bills and waited for Evan once more to return.

He came back and took the bill back, a smile on his lips.

"It's been awesome to serve you two, and uh, would it be possible if I could get a picture with you both?"

I watched Chris stand next to the kid and I waited, and both men looked at me expectantly.

"What?"

"Kii, he said both of us." I blinked in shock and raised my eyebrow.

"Really?" Evan nodded, a smile lighting his face. "But why?"

"Because you're both awesome people. I've noticed that you speak to some of your twitter followers with such care, especially after your own loss. It was as if you didn't want the same thing to happen to another person..." He trailed off, a pink tinge in his cheeks and I just grinned at him.

"You're an alright kid." I spoke honestly as I stood the other side of him so that he was sandwiched between myself and Chris. He raised his iPhone up and I instantly grinned before the flash went off.

"Thank you both, seriously."

"Tweet me the picture, I want to see it." I motioned to him and he nodded his head.

"Also, before you cash in our bill, check it first." Chris grinned at the boy before I looped my arm through his. As we stepped away, I caught his gasp and colourful language followed which made me giggle.

"What did you give him?" I aasked as Chris opened the door once more for me.

"A number. I told him to give it a call tomorrow midday." I frowned for a minute, working it out in my head.

"But... aren't you in the studio tomorrow...?"

He nodded his head and left it at that. He started the car, and that's when it twigged.

Either he was going to get him to talk to his heroes, or he's going to get him in the studio.

"You amaze me sometimes." I murmured and he grinned at me.

"Onto part two of our date." He grinned as he drove into an unfamiliar area of LA. He turned into a small street and started going down the back roads of LA.

"Where the hell are you taking us?" I raised my eyebrow at him and he just grinned at me..

"You'll see soon enough. Now hush." He winked at me and I pouted before turning to face the roads, watching curiously.

When we pulled up to a stop at a dead end road, I raised my eyebrow at Chris who simply got out of the car and walked around.

My gut was screaming at me to stay in the car, but the reassuring smile was enough for me to take his hand and step out of the car.

"Chris..." I trailed off, my eyes scanning the darkened building. "Where are we?"

"You'll see." He sang quietly, before knocking on the door which was practically camouflaged.

It opened and Chris stepped inside, pulling me with him and I felt my heart pick up as we stepped into a dimly lit room. Voices caught my attention and Chris didn't stop where he was, leading me to where a hallway was better lit.

Before I knew it, the hallway opened out to a room filled with all sorts of electrical equipment as well as instruments.

Wait... Instruments?

"Chris...?" He just grined at me as he pulled me into another room and I heard voices around me.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I jumped out of my skin as the voices surrounded me and I placed a hand on my heart.

"Holy fuck. How-?"

"When we were in San Diego, I got to know Amelia and I learned a bit more about you.2 He admitted sheepishly. "Happy birthday baby." He kissed my cheek and I blushed.

In all honesty, I had forgotten the date, and I'd lost track of the times. So I'd completely forgotten it was my birthday.

I felt myself get emotional as I looked at the guys and girls as well as a few other bands who I loved and I stopped myself from letting out a squeal.

Of Mice & Men, A Day To Remember, D.R.U.G.S and Asking Alexandria were there.

If I had to be honest, I was most excited about Of Mice & Men being there more than anything.

"I fucking hate and love you right not Chris." I grumbled as I burried my face in my hands. He just laughed and kissed the top of my head before I looked up, a smile clear on my lips.

Each one of my friends who had become my family were stood there with goofy grins and the others seemed just happy that I was so impresed.

"Oh, and one more thing..." Chris trailed off, looking at Austin who had a smug grin on his lips.

"You madame, have a birthday show. There are of course going to be fans of the band, but we  felt that you should enjoy your birthday night. Before we started drinking that is." At this I snorted out a laugh before looking at my friends.

"How the fuck did you keep this quiet?"

"Bribery. That and the threat of loosing my balls. Not happening any time soon." Ash mumbled and I giggled.

"Wait, are you all playing?" I asked incredulously and that was when I realised that my BVB boys were all kitted out, minus Chris. "Fuckers." I grumbled as Asking Alexandria set themselves up before running out onto the stage, our ears deafened by screams of fans.

We all moved closer to the side stage and I watched their show, a smile on my lips as my eyes were on the crowd, each person screaming out to get noticed by the guys.

They finished up set and yelled a 'Happy Birthday to me, giving me a sweaty hug as they walked off, making me cringe.

A Day To Remember followed their lead, but this time, Jeremy picked out a female and got her to sing with him, and I could see on her face how happy that made her.

The guys copied Asking Alexandira and gave me sweaty hugs whilst yelling Happy Birthday at me, and that was when I noticed that the Asking Alexandria boys had disappeared, and the A Day To Remember guys were disappearing from the room as well.

"Hold up. What the fuck is going on?" Chris made hsi appearence, in full makeup and he grinned at me.

"Part three of my surprise." I grumbled under my breath and he laughed, kissing my cheek.

"You're too cute."

"Shut up lover boy."

"You're the one who loves me." He sang and I just grumbled under my breath as I watched D.R.U.G.S set.

They caught me in a group hug, but with no happy birthday being yelled, but I understood that they were saying that with the group hug.

"Kia?" Austin's voice caught me off guard and I looked at him as the guys waited to go on stage. "Fancy doing a song which is all clean vocals for me?" I knew exactly what song he meant and I nodded my head.

"I'm not coming on stage though. Fucking no chance!" I called after him as he ran onto stage, laughing.

They went through the setlist easily and I was handed a wireless mic by one of the stage crew and I swithced it on, grinning.

"How ya'll doing tonight LA?" Austin yelled and the crowd cheered.

"'Course they're alright Austin, I mean who wouldn't be when there are fucking insane bands performing for them tonight?" He jumped at my voice which boomed through the speakers and I laughed.

"Well, well, well. She appears!" He sang and I giggled.

"Hey there LA." I called out, and he smiled at me, motioning for me to come out of the shadows. I shook my head and he pouted at me. "Some of you may or may not know me. I won't say my name, but I'll let you figure it out if you follow me on twitter." I covered the mic as I laughed and the guys joined in, instantly the screams causing to get louder.

"C'mon Austin. I ain't young forever." I joked and he smirked.

"Time to move onto the next song I guess."

I glanced at Chris and grinned at him.

I don't mind it, I don't mind if you're overrated

Or if you're staring at the edge of the world,

But keep in mind that I'm a sore eye, with blurry vision,

But I can see yeah, it has to be you love,

That I've been dreaming of, and if we climb this high

I swear we'll never die.

I don't mind it, I don't mind if you're overrated,

or if you're staring at the edge of the world,

but keep in mind that I'm a sore eye, with blurry vision,

but I can see yeah, it has to be you love,

that I've been dreaming of, and if we climb this high

I swear we'll never die; I'll never die.

He grinned at me and kissed my cheek before I handed the mic back and Austin gave me a thumbs up.

"Next up we have Black Veil Brides!" He called out and the place went insane.

I laughed as Austin and the guys quickly ran off as their names were yelled out and he hugged me tightly.

"Thanks and Happy Birthday Kia." He grinned and I rolled my eyes before I shoved him away and gave the rest of the guys quick hugs before they disappared to where ever the third part was taking place.

After about ten minutes, the crowd started chanting and the guys took this as their cue and the girls kissed my cheek before disappearing after the other bands, leaving me by myself, side stage.

Watching the guys perform, it was amusing to watch their antics.

Andy got swallowed up by the crowd at one point and Ashley made a call out for his band member to be saved.I sat and listened as Andy managed to get the crowd into complete silences, talking about loss and pain. About how that every single person in the room was strong as hell and they were here for a reason.

I felt my heart tear at that part, my immediate thoughts going to my best friend.

"Tonight ladies and gentleman. We are celebrating a very special day. As you all know, CC got himself a girl," I was shocked at the reaction. The majority were cheering this fact and I grinned. "And today is her mother fucking birthday." I looked at CC who shook his head, a smirk on his lips and I knew he had something to do with this.

That boy was so dead later.

"Oh Ki-aan-aa." I shook my head and backed away from the six foot giant who advanced on me like a lion cornering its prey.

"Na uh. No way. Andrew Biersack don't you da-" I squealed as he lifted me over his shoulder and the guys started laughing at me as he carried me onto the stage and there were cheers from the crowd.

"If I place you on your feet, will you run?"

"Depends on what it takes to get me to stay still." I muttered and he laughed.

"I know exactly how I can get you to stay still, but I don't want to embarrass you." I could here the glee in his voice at how pissed off I was towards him.

Oh yeah. This one was going to die as well.

"I hate you all." I grumbled.

"No you don't!" Chris sang from the drum set and I scowled at him. He only grinned at me.

Andy placed me on my feet and I hit his arm hard.

"That actually hurt." His face looked shocked and I felt smug as I grinned out to the crowd.

"Just goes to show that girl power is the best." I got a chorus of cheers and I laughed as Andy pouted.

"Pouts might work with your girl, but they don't work with me." I smirked and he rolled his eyes before slinging his arm around my shoulders.

"As I was saying, it is this amazing girls birthday. Many of you have thought that she's just a random stranger we picked up. But nope. This one here's been chatting to our drummer boy via emails. The friendship blossomed and bada bing bada boom here we are today."

I stole the mic off him for a moment, pulling it down to my height.

"It also seems that he left out all the fun parts of the times spent with me. Oh like truth or dare." I grinned as the mic got pulled away and the guys laughed as Andy blushed.

"And we are so not going into that territory."

I raised an eyebrow and giggled. I felt a hand in mine and I turned my head to see Chris stood next to me with a grin.

I wiggled from Andy's grip and I couldn't help but wrap my arms around my boyfriends neck, my lips by his ear.

"This is by far the best birthday. Thank you." I grinned at him and he smiled back, pressing a kiss to my lips and the crowd was forgotten, despite the uproar that we had just caused.

"As I was trying to say," Andy continued as we pulled apart and I kept on arm around Chris and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Loverboy organised the whole event for his girl. So I want you all to mother fucking cheer for one of the cuter couples of the band." He grinned and I blushed.

"Bastard." I grumbled under my breath and Chris just laughed.

"Sing with me guys." Andy called out and the crowd joined in with him, singing happy birthday to me.

This birthday beat every other birthday by miles.

All because of my crazy, loveable boyfriend.

I was still going to kill him for this later, but for now, I savoured the moment.
