I promised myself that I will not ask Loudres any question about Max, but by the time we passed the third green light, she was faster.
"Max is a fun guy." She said randomly while she was switching the lanes. She did not say Good guy or Bad guy - she said Fun guy. Jack Johnson was lying from the radio and I put my sunglasses on to protect my eyes from the sun. I had nothing to say to that.
She asked me if I want to have some drink with her by the pool. Honestly I did not want to but I felt bad to refuse her. She made some Mojitos and we sat by the edge of the pool dipping our feet in refreshing water.
"This is great place..I love it here. Every time i have a time off I'm coming here to see my sis or Gregor."
Gregor was Max's stepfather. So she was closer to his stepfather than to Max?
"I know Gregor and Max for a long time..me and Max we were engaged.."
I almost chocked on the mint. Did she really said that? She noticed my face expression and she laughed.
"Come on Michaela..Max is like fifteen years older than you..he lived it large.."
She sipped on her drink. I tried to play it cool, but I was bothered by that fact. One think for sure it made me to drink easier and faster.
I ended up drinking like three of those drinks and mixing alcohol and sun was not the best idea to do. I did not really care..I remembered to walk to the guest house to get some glass of water and when i got back she was gone. I was happy for that. i already hated her.. I lay on the ground by the pool..I felt my head spinning..I was going through my head about Max and his female companies..Old women..they must hate on me hard, because I'm young..all of them has fake boobs, fake lips..botox..I sat up tired of the heat..I wanted to cool off so I wanted to dive in to the pool, but my head was spinning and I lost my balance..Next thing i knew was me being under the water..
I could not move my arms or my legs..I could see the sunlight behind the surface of the water but I could not get to it.. I felt like I'm falling in to the dark hole..closing my eyes..
Somebody grabbed my body and took me above the water..I felt the fresh air on my skin and I wanted to take a deep breath,but i choked with the caught. The ground was hot , it was burning me on my skin as I was laying on it..
"Are you crazy?!! That was the most stupid think you could do.." i could not see the face due the sun, which was burning in my eyes, but I knew that voice. It was Max.
"Asshole.." I whispered. He took me in his arms and he did carry me in to the house. He put me gently on my bed.
"You lucky I found you.." He said and petted my face.
"No.You lucky I found you babe." I replied.
