It hurts
It yearns
It cries
It tries
to keep holding on
it fails
it tells of long lost memories
it goes by thinking
bleeding
pounding
sounding off alarms
calling tears
calling pain
that gains it's strength
from happy times
that only seem forgotten
lost in time and space
it fights the negativity
it loses power
the will to keep going on
it tries so hard
it's now numb
the stages a broken heart
goes through
seems unbearable
I'm cursed with this weak heart
which once was strong
but now
it's lost all strength
it breaks down all of the time
causing this brink of disaster
it just wants to hide away forever
I guess hiding itself in my chest
will lead it nowhere
