No matter the pain, I can't put into words how I feel. This aching deep within my very soul radiates in distasteful hues. Once light pinks now bleed out into dark crimsons; baby blues now deeper than the abyss, rivaling those of now lackluster golds. Burdened by the secrets I can never share, in fear of a loss I could never bare, I pull away in an attempt to hide myself from the truth. But inevitably, truth shall always prevail over ones fantasies. Eyes water endlessly; emotion perpetually flowing with every delicate drop shed. Yet what is truth? Do I succumb to feelings I have yet to understand? Am I merely to be subjugated by the desires my heart lacks? So many questions, no answers to be found... that is, without paying a heavy price; A price I am unable to find strength nor courage to pay.
