"Just a few more minutes until the start of a new year!" Craig said.
"Yeah!" Tweek responded. "Thanks for t-taking me out for New Years by the way...!"
"Anytime Tweekers"
"You haven't called me that since middle school!" Tweek laughed as he remembered.
Craig smiled softly and put his arm around Tweek's shoulders.
"Almost time!" Tweek exclaimed.
"You going to make a wish?" Craig asked.
"H-huh?"
"You know, a New Years wish!"
"N-no, I don't do that anymore..." Tweek looked away slowly.
"Why not? You're not growing out if it, are you?"
"It's not that, it's just..."
"Yeah? "Just" what?" Craig held Tweek's face softly and looked him straight in the eyes. "You know you can tell me anything."
Tweek sighed. "You remember that other guy I used to date?"
"Yeah, what about him?"
"W-well... I found out he was cheating on-"
"What!? I'll kill him!" Craig interrupted Tweek.
Tweek laughed, "that's sweet Craig, but it's unnecessary!"
"Fine, continue..."
"Anyways... I learned this on New Years... when my "wish" was to be happy..." Tweek finished and looked down.
"I... had no idea... sorry"
"It's ok Craig, you didn't do anything wrong..."
"Could you though?"
"What?"
"Make a wish?"
"Craig, I told you, I don't-!"
"For me?" Craig finished calmly. "Make a New Years wish for me?"
Tweek smiled, "Ok Craig, for you..."
"Close your eyes and make a wish honey!"
Tweek laughed and closed his eyes.
I wish... to never be hurt like that again...
Tweek suddenly felt a warm pair of lips against his own.
"H-huh!?" Tweek's eyes snapped open to see Craig kissing him. Tweek freaked out and pulled away.
"Sorry, was that a bad decision?" Craig asked, avoiding eye contact.
Tweek calmed down and smiled, "no Craig, it was the perfect decision" Tweek said softly before leaning forward and kissing him.
Craig looked up and smiled.
"I love you" Tweek said.
They both leaned forward and kissed as the click struck midnight and fireworks went off, celebrating the new year.
