mediocre poetry by a mediocre poet (two) More

synopsis plus extras
fresh air
i cannot be your rose
in this tired haze
black dahlia
before you left
hold my hand
i still feel alone
the day the clock stopped
flowers for fingers
the boy who sits between the rose bushes
the garden in my mind
a lovely lie
those late nights
sin
shes the garden
only in dreams

snow in july

loving you
is like snow
in july.

snow on
my roses
just enough
to make
them die.

a light
dusting of
snow on the
precious petals
is enough to
make them
crack.

but sometimes
the snow is
just what
I lack.
