In the Darkness

In the darkness,

There was a portal.

A portal to another world,

A better place,

And it looked like light.

She reached,

Reached out to touch it,

To get a glimpse of this beautiful, beautiful world,

But she couldn't.

For she was trapped,

Trapped in her mind,

Trapped in the darkness.

In the darkness, she was alone.

Sometimes,

She wished somone would come,

Come to save her,

But nobody ever did.

So maybe,

Just maybe,

One day,

You will open up that portal,

And save her,

For she was trapped,

Trapped in the darkness.
