After the book store trip Carlisle drove me home once again. By the time we arrived I can see Bella is already back which is good because now we can have dinner as a family. "Oh dear god, Carlisle I just realized Bella has to know I can speak too.. it was bad enough trying to explain it to my father. What do I do?!" I ask him frantically. Then I feel his cold hand grab mine and he calmly reply's. "Tell her the truth.. or tell her what you told your father.. only some of the truth." I sigh for he didn't help me. "Carlisle you do realize how my mind works right? As of now I've already thought of a thousand different scenarios that could go wrong." He chuckles and nods his head. "Yes I am aware of how your mind works. However this doesn't mean that those things are going to happen." When he finishes his sentence I can only think of when Carlotta said a similar statement in phantom of the opera. "These things do happen." I start to recite the lines but am stopped by Carlisle's hand covering my mouth. "Okay Andrew Lloyd Webber enough phantom of the opera references." He tells me chuckling and I chuckle along. "Thank you Carlisle." I say as I remove his hand from my mouth. "You always manage to make me feel better." He shrugs his shoulders and then kisses me on the forehead. "Best get inside love." I smile and kiss him passionately on the lips. "I suppose your right.." I giggle and hop out of his car. Softly I close the car door behind me. Walking into the house I smell burnt something and see a guilty looking dad standing in the kitchen. "Dad? Did you try and cook again?" I question him trying to stifle my laughter. "Maybe..." he answers. "Okay from now on you sir are banned from the kitchen." He sighs in relief but hesitates as he goes to leave the kitchen. "Shoo.. I'll clean this up and restart." He smiles and thanks me then heads to the living room. "Oh dad where is Bella?" I call out. "In her room." He calls back. I begin to clean up the burnt mess my father made and all the while I am grateful for having such an amazing father. One who never judges me.. one who would never hurt me.. and most importantly one who always is there for me. I seem to have it all. A perfect father and a perfect boyfriend. Life couldn't get any better. But as we all know happiness.. it never lasts for long.
