Antonella's POV
I held the mustache prop up on Juan's face and he put the funny sign up in front of both of us before the camera flashed for our final photo.
We left the impromptu booth and awaited as our photos processed.
Juan and I were at another wedding, this time one of his coworker's, so it was mostly just us two spending the entire time together.
"No!" Juan starts to laugh at the photos. "What the hell was I doing?"
"I'm gonna blow this one up," I laugh hysterically.

We were holding hands as we exited the venue and started to walk back to my place.
It's been a month since that third date of ours and we haven't officially declared that we're in a relationship, but we practically are.
We talk about that wedding the entire way home and take some time talking about the scene that one of his drunk coworker's started at the reception and we can't help but laugh at the incident.
We were walking right on the coast when Juan came to a complete halt and started leaning on the railing separating the ocean and us, facing the water.
"What is it?" I ask him before leaning my back on the railing.
"I have something to tell you," he lowers his voice a bit.
Juan's POV
"Go ahead," Anto simply says, not expecting anything close to what I really want to tell her.
I look at her one last time before clearing my throat, still trying to analyze how it was that I was going to tell her about what Eva and I had.
I'm finally at a good place with this amazing girl and I had been lying about this one thing that would hurt her the most. I know I have to tell her, but this is the hardest thing that I can do.
I think of her reaction, the scowl on her face before she swats me with her clutch and begins walking away. The lonely sound her heels would make as she picks up the pace before I catch up to her and as I call out her name.
Me trying to tell her that I can explain everything and it meant nothing to me while she shouts that she doesn't wanna hear it.
All these amazing past months coming to an end in seconds.
"I'm glad you came tonight," I finally speak. "You look stunning."
"I had fun," she smiles before leaning in and leaving a kiss on my lips. "And thank you. You do too."
I look back out onto the water and take a deep breath, thinking what she doesn't know won't hurt her.
"When's the next wedding?" She interrupts my thoughts.
"I don't know," I chuckle and try to take my mind off of the one thing that has been preventing me from asking her to be mine. "You didn't catch a bouquet tonight either, so..."
"I got another five years left in me," she laughs before turning to face the water with me. "What's bothering you, Juan?"
"Just a little scared," I tell her.
"About?"
"How much I like you," I turn to face her.
"Nothing bad can come of that," she says sincerely as we look into each other's eyes. "I can promise you that."

I was kissing Anto as she started to rummage through her clutch to find her apartment keys.
"Stop," she starts laughing and curling her lips under mine. "Give me one second," she softly pushes me off of her.
She manages to find her keys while I lean on the doorway just staring at her.
"Are you gonna tell me I look stunning again?" She smirks as she unlocks the door.
"So what if I do?" I ask before putting my hand under her jaw and bringing her face up to start kissing again.
We enter the apartment with our lips locked and we don't disconnect them and shut the door.
Anto pushes me onto the wall as we continue making out and we stumble to get to her bedroom door.
"Ahem," A guy clears his throat and Antonella and I quickly separate and look over to the living room.
"What a surprise," Eva starts and I take a step away from her roommate.
"Funny how things turn out," Felipe begins to laugh and Eva slaps his chest.
"Anyway," I can tell she's faking her smile. "We were only expecting Antonella, but here you are Juan."
"Hi, guys," Antonella blushes.
"We've got some news," Felipe keeps on trying not to laugh at the sight of us.
"We're getting married!" Eva shouts.
Antonella and I stay quiet at the news.
"Wow," Anto finally starts as the couple in front of us waits for a reaction.
I feel the anger building up inside of me as Antonella reluctantly starts walking toward them to hug them.
As Eva hugs Anto, she looks up at me with a look in her eyes. We were both mad, regardless of the celebration.
I go to hug Felipe before I do Eva who takes a tight grip of my shoulders.
"This is great, congrats," I tell the two. "Anto," I look over at her. "I have to go, but I'll call you tomorrow. Goodnight, guys," I say to the three of them before rushing to leave.
"Juan," I hear Anto when I reach the hall. "Juan," she catches up to me. "Where are you going?"
"I have to make a call," I tell her and get out of her grip before walking to the elevator.

Antonella's POV
Juan gets onto the elevator, acting super cold and not looking at me as the doors shut in front of him.
I start to feel a little small before walking back into my apartment.
Felipe was pouring some vodka into some glasses when I came back.
"Anto, you not drunk enough?" He brings a glass up and gestures for me to come take it.
I walk over and down the drink before I start talking to the couple.
"I'm happy for you guys," I force a smile. "But, unfortunately, I'm also exhausted. Can we celebrate some more tomorrow?"
"Of course!" Felipe answers for Eva before walking over to the couch and plopping himself on there.
"A short celebration, though," Eva speaks before taking her drink. "Wedding's in a month."
"What?" I widen my eyes.
"It was that or a year," Eva shrugs and smiles. "Venue I wanted had someone change their date recently."
"Wow," I say, still in shock. "Anyway, goodnight guys," I begin walking to my room, still confused about Juan.

I was dressed for bed and had just gotten under my sheets when Eva came into my room.
"Can I talk to you for a second?"
"Yeah," I sat up, thinking she was going to confess to me that she didn't want to get married or at least something of the sorts.
"Juan was acting super weird, huh?" She starts and my hopeful expression changes.
I stay quiet, preferring to listen than to talk.
"Why didn't you tell me you guys were sleeping together?"
"We're not," I shake my head.
"Dating," she laughs at the expression.
"You're still laughing at that term when you're going to be a married woman?" I bite.
"Anto," she puts her hand on my shoulder. "I don't know how to break it to you," I can smell the vodka on her breath, they were still drinking out there. "You were always so naive."
"Spit it out, Eva," I analyze her face.
"Juan's just using you to get to me."
"Why would he do that?"
"He has always had a thing for me," she shakes her head. "He was just using you to make me jealous. It was all fun and games while I was still on the market, but now," she brings up her hand to my face and I spot the ring that used to belong the Melissa. "I'm getting married. He ran off because the game's over."
"Wow," I say expressionless. "I can't believe him," I go along with the drunk girl's blabber.
"I don't want you getting hurt," she squints her eyes at me.
"Thanks, Eva," I nod. "I appreciate it," I pretend to sound sad.
"Are you gonna see him again?"
"Never," I shake my head.
"Just at the wedding," she cackles.
I try not smiling before I leave a kiss on her cheek.
"I need some time to myself," I act. "Goodnight, Eva."
