But, for some strange reason, I felt my eyes slowly open.
The place I was in seemed vaugley familiar.
I felt as if I had been there before.

Since I didn't die, I can finally tell him my true feelings.
If only I could get out of this damned bed.

Well, at least the headache is subsiding.... Nope.

Well just screw my luck.
Suddenly, the door opened to allow Lord Elrond into the room.
"Ahh, I see you are awake Flair. " he said.
"Yes, but speaking is all I can do. Is Thorin alright? And Lili?"
"They are both fine, and in fact, Thorin wants to speak with you now."
"Please let him in."
Elrond walked out.
Soon after, Thorin rushed into the room.
"Thorin!" I exclaimed.
"Flair, I'm glad you're not dead."
"You seem depressed Thorin."
"Erebor is gone. Goblins and orcs blew up."
"WHAT?!?!"
"I'm sorry."
"Th-thorin. I need to tel you ssomething."
"Anything love."
"Well, I finally admit that I do have feelings for you."
He kissed me.
Like I wasn't expecting that.
I kissed him back but I couldn't wrap my arms around him like I so badly wanted.
"Thorin, I need time to think things over."
"Alright, well the elves say the paralysis will wear off in a few hours."
He left the room, and I took a moment to think.
