canvas
where you can
paint your
scars
do not kiss my skin
with lips of death
and hide me in
the dark
where I may never
see the sunset
but instead hold me so tight
that our bodies mold
tilt your head on my chest
between my breasts
so you may hear my heart thud
touch my scars
with your love
so they do not
ache so painfully
and hold my hand
in the sun
so we can shine
as gracefully
