The ground crumbles beneath my foot as I walk along the long path. I've been traveling for for many days and I'm so exhausted from this long journey. I look a the horizon and as the sun setting. Oranges and pinks dance around the golden sun. Serenity is all I feel when I see a sunset. But after that I hate traveling. It gets dark out here in the waste land. Pitch black. A wave a fatigue come over me. I start to lose my balance but I continue to walk forwards.
Where's my destination? I'm not quite sure. Maybe it's to Valdera the city of peace and harmony. Or maybe it's to the land of Geni the place where the royal family lives. I don't know. Maybe it's somewhere with hope and not fear. Maybe it's somewhere with civilization.
As I ponder these thoughts a voice calls out to me. My feet slow their pace to a stop.
"Where you goin kid? You don't want nothing we got?"a man shouts. His breath reeked of old fish and meat.
I shake my head and continue my journey. The man come closer putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Your not goin away that quickly are you now?"he smirked. The other man laughed as well showing his teeth.
I tried to stay calm but my attention was brought to the short blades in his back pocket. I knew not to pick a fight with them. But I couldn't quite help it. His arm clenched my shoulder tightly. Theses guys were certain of getting what they wanted. Well so was I...
