Link's POV
Despite Groose's attempt at reassurance, I couldn't get Ghirahim out of my mind. Everyone thinks the worst thing I had to deal with on my adventure was Demise, that Demise was the one who scarred me, who gave my nightmares. How wrong they all were.
Yes, Demise was intimidating. But when I fought him, I had a purpose, I had a world to protect. And he fought back, throwing his all at me. But Ghirahim... he toyed with me. He didn't fight fair. He was unpredictable, and that's what scared me the most.
And now, instead of saving Zelda from him, I somehow have to save myself from him. Do I leave Skyloft? No, I can't leave my home. And besides, if he completely frees himself from his sword like before, he'll just come after me. What am I to do?
I'm sure everything will work out in the end, it always does. But without Fi to guide me, I feel lost. I'd grown so used to her presence that without her it felt strange.
At least I have quite a bit of time left to plan out how to deal with... him. As Groose said, we'll just get Impa to imprison him again. And besides, even if he's going to get free eventually, it's taken him seven months to reach the edge of the graveyard. I'll be fine, as long as I keep my distance.
And in the meantime, I'll work out a way to get rid of the problem once and for all.
Ghirahim's POV
I sat idly on the edge of the floating sky island, my legs dangling over the side. Of course, I made certain to conceal myself from anyone who may wander past by sitting behind a tree.
I'm so bored, and that's never good for anyone who happens to be around at the time of my boredom. My thoughts drifted back to the Skychild again.
Ah, ever since our first meeting, he had me intrigued. He trembled in fear, yet still attempted to fight me despite knowing I was leagues above him in skill. And the taste of his skin... Oh! I get excited just thinking about it!
Calm down, Ghirahim. He'll be yours soon.
No! I want him now! My body trembled at the thought of the Skychild under me, at me being the one to cause him both pleasure and pain...
I growled out loud. He was so close! The only thing stopping me from reaching him is these stupid invisible chains! I stood up and stomped angrily on the ground where my sword was buried, and at that moment, I felt my bonds break entirely, much to my surprise.
I grinned. I knew they were rapidly weakening, but for them to break this soon is simply delightful! Now there's nothing standing in my way.
Enjoy your last moments of freedom in the sky my little ex-hero, because today might be the last time you see the sun for a while.
