"i'm aware. but i can't do much about it. i've tried to tell them to stop, but they're still persistent."
"if they haven't stopped, they must have a reason. obviously you don't have to tell me, but i'm thinking you might have a reason too. if you do, you should just tell them."

"oh. if they're supportive you should tell them. when i realized i was gay, i told my friend riley, and she's always been there for me."
"okay, so i'll tell them. were you blunt when you told her?"
