VIOLETS POV:
I told Izzy everything about his Theo had asked me out.
"Say no!" Izzy said over the phone.
"Why? No one else is gonna ask me out!" I said. "What about Shawn!" She said back. "What about him?" I asked. "I thought you liked him?" She asked. "I'm...I'm not just gonna wait for someone who doesn't like me in that way, I might as well just move on" I said. "How do you know he doesn't like you?!" Izzy asked. "I just do okay! He's my best friend I know he wouldn't like me, I'm not the girl he wants" I said. "Again you don't know that" Izzy said. "And what you do know?" I asked. Izzy didn't reply straight away, I could tell she was trying to find a good answer. "Just trust me on this, you guys don't just look at each other like friends, it's more than that" she said. "So our eyes are telling you that we like each other?" I asked. "We I was right about you liking him, wasn't I?" Izzy said. She made a pretty good point there. "Actually maybe you should say yes to Theo, it might show Shawn that he does like you" Izzy said. "But I don't like him" I said. "Oh stop denying it! Just say yes to Theo, promise me" Izzy said, and I did was she said and accepted it, I was now going to prom with Theo. I guess he isn't that bad looking but, no there's no buts, Shawn isn't in the picture here. I turned my lights off and went asleep and drifted away from reality.
I woke up to my phone ringing and my eyes were barely open when I answered it, not knowing who I was answering too.
"Is it true?" I heard a male voice say and it took me And moment to realise it was Shawn. "Is what true?" I asked. "You're going to prom with Theo?" He asked. "Um yeah" I replied. "Oh, that's cool" he replied. "Wait, who told you?" I asked. "Izzy" He said. Of course Izzy did.
