(Y/n)'s POV
I've always had a thing for Matsuda. He's brave, loyal, he's a bit slow compared to everyone else at Task Force and I find it highly adorable but he tries, and he's dedicated and determined. Everyone calls him an idiot, especially when he got caught eavesdropping on the Yotsuba group in their meeting. But it helped us a lot. If he didn't get caught, Misa most likely wouldn't have been able to get a confession from Higuchi and then we wouldn't know how Kira kills people.
It's pretty late at night right now and I just finished my research for the day so I shut off my computer.
When I turned around to head up to my room, I noticed Matsuda asleep on the couch. He must've fallen asleep while working. I shouldn't wake him up and if I try to carry him upstairs, he will definitely wake up. I'll just cover him with a blanket and then go to sleep myself.
I grab a large blanket from the closet and cover him completely, making sure he won't be cold.
He then begins to sleep talk. "(Y/n)...don't.. leave.." I smile to myself. He's so adorable. I gently caress his cheek with my right hand as I admire his feature. His eyes opened a bit so I quickly pulled my hand a way.
"(Y/n)? No, don't leave." He whimpered and grabbed my wrist, then lightly tugged on it. "Come on,.. cuddle with me." He pleaded, his eyes closed again. He's still half asleep.
"Okay, Matsuda." I chuckled and he scooted over a bit, so I would have room on the couch. I soon fell asleep in his embrace, my nose full of his scent and a smile plastered on my face. That was the best sleep I had ever had.
