I woke up earlier then normal, so I just decided to go head and eat breakfast I slowly walked down the stairs holding on to the banister Cuz I was so clumsy I went to the pantry and grab some honey combs and got the milk out the fridge. I grabbed a bowl and spoon. I had a major weggie I looked around to see if someone was watching me I quickly pick it out
'' whoaaaaa there'' Robert said
Robert was my mom new husband
''where you come from?'' I said
''outside having my morning smoke before your mom gets up you know she can't stand me smoking in the house''
Robert said as he grabbed him a bowl and poured him some cereal and milk and then he started drinking from the jug.
''ewww I think I'll eat breakfast at school'' I said disguised and putting the bowl and spoon back. I walked up the stairs and passed mama.
''was Robert smoking again'' she whisper, careful not to let him hear her

mama was fun but she could get strict at times

she chuckled quietly and continue on walking down the stairs I stood there watching her.

Robert jumped spilling a splash of milk, she began laughing she went up to him and hugged him still laughing I enjoyed seeing my mom happy, anyone can tell she was in love. I hope one day I can feel that way but for now I just focus on my school work. I ran up stairs to wake up my brother and sister. First I went to shmaya room then I went to DJ it took me almost five minutes to wake him up since a really deep sleepier

''get up it our first day back to school'' I said wishing we could have an extra week of spring break
I walk out running to the bathroom before Shmaya(because she is a bathroom Hogg) I got there just in time.

''life not fair'' I laugh in her face and take a quick shower and put on my new outfit Robert bought me for my birthday. I slipped it on and looked in the mirror I was wearing a neon green shirt with the word ''pink'' in big bold hot pink colors and hot pink pants and some light green sandels that wrapped around my foot. I put my hair in a pony tail my hair was really long for a black girl and I didn't take for granite
''JOCELYN'' my mom called ''you're gonna be late for your first day back'' I looked at my new watch mom brought me it was 7:53 I grabbed my book bag and keys gave mom and Robert a quick kiss on the check and ran to my car. I turned on my radio and it was on station 103x even though I came from the ghetto part of town and was raised by ghetto people I was still into while people music and what I would so for a nice looking white boy I giggle at my self a little I stop the car at a red light when I turn my head and I seen this lady and boy aguring
''mom its my first day at easternwood high I need you to drive me'' he snapped '' I told you I have to go to work early''
''HEY'' I yell they both look in my direction ''I go to easternwood high I can give you a ride'' he looked then ran towards my car be fore the light turned green ''thanks'' he says when he get in the car he was really cute hot even he had sandy brown hair his eyes were mint green and when he smiled he had the deepest dimples I ever seen, he had on a baby blue polo shirt and khaki shorts I glance at him
''hey I'm Jocelyn but you can call me Jojo''
'' oh I'm gavin but I go by gav'' he said looking at me
' I blushed from embarrassment
''its okay, and you are cute when you blush'' he said smiling I blush even more my checks turning red

we stayed silent for a while, we glance at each other and then look away
''sooo what kind of stuff u like to do'' I ask trying to break the silence but he stayed quiet for a while

I say as we pull up to the school I find a good park and grab my stuff and keys and hop out as Gavin does the same

he smiled and we walked in. I walked to my best friend jade who was talking to my other best friends correna(Cory for short) I taped them on their shoulder and they turned around I literally threw myself in their arms wanting them to catch me
''AHHHHH I missed you guys''
I said while standing up straight and given them a proper hug

''who is this'' she said bitting her bottom lip and twirling her long dark hair
''guys this is gavin, Gavin this is jade and correna Cory for short'' he held his hand out for a handshake jade shoke his hand first and correna gave him a full blown out hug a way as if they were going out I pull her off of him
''cory what is wrong with you'' I ask laughing at the expression that creap upon Gavin face
''he is just so ohhhhh'' she said now biting her top lip he looked at her and smiled awkwardly frowning his eyebrows
after about 15 mins of catch in up we head off to our first class history

we enter history and as others students walk in and take their seats Mr prinskit has already got Gavin ready we sit in the back of the room I slid back in my seat and put my hood on my head as the late bell rings and i fell Gavin staring at me

its lunch now and its pizza monday so it was packed, but once me and Gavin get our lunch I walked over to the table with jade and Cory and the rest of my friends with Gavin following behind me as we approach the table someone bumps into me knocking me on the floor spilling their food all over me everybody looks and burst out laughing
I feel so embarrassed that I run out whipping food off of me
I hear footsteps running after me I thought it was either jade or Cory but when I turn to look I see mint green eyes staring back at me GAVIN
''what are you doing out here '' I say kinda glad its him instead of one of my fiends ''I came to see if you were okay'' he said smiling weakly ''well no I'm not my clothes are all ruined now and everybody saw me fall on my butt covered In food'' I say while whipping tomato sauce off my face he walks closer to me helping me get cleaned off he takes off the sweat shirt he had on and handed it to me
''what's this for'' I ask
''here put this on'' he says handing it to me again since I didn't take it the first time I take it and go in the bathroom to take off my shirt and slip on the sweat shirt I look at my pants an they seem to be fine so I walk out to find gavin waiting outside the door
''thanks for the sweat shirt and helping me clean off I can tell we are gonna be very good friends''
''yea me to'' he smiles at me and I smile back

the day is finally over
''you sure you'll be okay here by yourself I mean you don't know your way around the school'' I ask him he thinks for a while looking at his phone ''yea I guess I can use a ride''
we head to the car but instead of him going to the passenger side he comes on the driver side
''what are you doing'' I ask with a confused look on my face
''you did enough for me for today ima drive, where are the keys?" I smile idk I slowly back away ''you do know hand 'em here'' he smiles back
''no'' I run away wanting him to catch me
''I'm gonna catch you I was the quarter back for my old school'' he says catching up ''well I won first place in almost all my track meets during my sophomore year'' I say picking up speed
we went on for about 5 more min when he finally reaches me and grab the keys out the sweatshirt he gave me which I still had on
''by the way I let you catch me'' I say in between breaths
''yea right''
he says taking off his shirt he has a very very hot looking 6pack I attempted to touch them but pulled my hand away before he could look at me we walk back to the car and I decided to let him drive but instead of him turning right from the school he turned left
''what are you doing we live on the same steet which is that way'' I say arching my brow
''I know after all that running and both of us not eating lunch I am very hungry and I know you are to'' he smiles glancing at me with my arms folded across my chest ''so you are knapping me'' I say looking at him he laughs then glances at me when he realize I'm serious he says ''oh you can't be serious?" he asks his smile fades away I don't reply we pull up at marks messy burgers we get out and go in
he looks at me ''are you mad at me'' he asks finding a empty booth and we sit
''no because I love this place'' I say smiling
the waitress comes over looking at Gavin biting her bottom lip ''what would you like to order'' she says ''um I'll have a regular marks messy Burger hold the messy part and a ice tea with lemon'' I say ''um I'll have the messy mountain burger and a coke'' gavin says smiling faintly the waitress walks away still looking at Gavin but she faces forwards when she hit a wall me and Gavin burst out laughing tears falling down my check
when the food arrives both our stomachs are growling we happily dig in
''so what kind of stuff you like to do'' he asks taking giants bites out of his burger then taking a sip of coke
''oh well I like to sang'' I saying drinking some of my ice tea
''oh cool''

after we finish eating we head back to the car when I try stepping off the side walk my shoes scrap against it causing me to fall in to Gavin arms as he catches me we look in each others eyes and stared for a while as if we were gonna kiss I stand up straight before anything can happen I mean I just met this hunk who super dreamie nice sandy hair and- his voice snapped me out of my thoughts

we get in the car and buckle up we stay silent for the rest of the ride until he pull up at his house we both get out I go over to the driver side

''yea'' I say opening the car door and hoping in once I crank up the car I realize how huge his house is it looks about 5 floors I pull out of his long driveway I wave and smile weakly as he does the same

3 weeks later I follow the same retinue but today I left early to drive to Gavin house to see if he wanted a ride when I pulled up in his drive way I got out fit to knock on the door when the door open him standing there as if was waiting on me
''hey wanna ride'' I say examining what he has on he got on a plain white T and grey jogging pants and white and grey Jordan's he was looking fly today
''um yea why not but this time I'm driving you'' he said smiling closing the door behind him
''this again?'' I ask
''I mean ima drive u in my car'' he leads me to a garage full of the latest and hottest cars but the one he goes to is a black mustang he leans on the car folded his arms and using one hand to rub his chin as if he has a bread
''like my ride'' he said while still running his chin
''yea its hot'' I say laughing at his pose we get in and drive to school when we pull up we see Mr. prinskit aguring with principal Tate
''you are making a huge mistake you'll-'' Mr prinskit says his face turning red and his hand balling up in a ball
''just leave you are fired and dont-'' said principal Tate walking off we get out the car and walk to over to mr prinskit who is now rubbing his head as if frustrated
''Mr prinskit you just got fired why, you are like my favorite teacher'' I say it wasn't like I was lying he doesn't answer for a while
''because he says I only show clips and I only give video quizzes''
''but that's not true you get up and teach every once In a while and you give regular test and quizzes very often'' I say
''I know but trying telling sally that he still thinks I don't teach right''
''who is sally'' I ask confused thinking if we are still talking bout principal Tate

''sally Tate wow'' I say laughing Gavin joins in and so does Mr prinskit I hear the bell ring so I try wrapping up the conversation

''well I'm not your teacher any more I'm your friend'' I smile walking away and Gavin following I think to myself who is gonna be our sub for today principal Tate couldn't have find anyone that fast, I guess we will have to find out

we walk in and the class is a zoo there are people shooting paper balls across the room, some on their phones right In the open
and my group is sitting in a circle playing some game me and Gavin walk up to them and sit down
''hey what's going on'' I ask looking around the room
''look at our teacher'' sharie (one of my other friends) said
I looked over my shoulder and saw Mrs. flugen the oldest sub there is so she doesn't really knows what happening to much going on

he thinks for a moment ''um yea why not''
now Joshua is spinning and it lands on mirrie they lean in shyly and give each other a peck on the lips now its drake's turn he spins it and it lands on Joshua we all look at each other and laugh
''no way I'm kissing him'' drake says pointing at Joshua
''why not you know you wanna'' josh say making kissie faces at him while laughing drake goes again and it lands on mirrie again they lean over me and kiss now its my go I close my eyes placing my hand on the bottle and I spin it lands on OMG his mint green eyes stare at me GAVIN I look at him trying to decide weather to kiss him or not finally he leans in and kiss me his warm sweet lips on mine makes me melt we kiss longer then the rest
''OKAY OKAY you guys don't have to make out'' mirrie says laughing me and Gavin pull apart and look at each other he looks as if he wants to do it again and he must know I feel the same way cause he leans in again but the bell rings we jump up grab our stuff and head out. we have 2nd period together so we glance at each other every once in a while and then look away I really enjoyed the kiss and I think I might like him

its lunch now and when I close my locker gavin isn't there he always wait at my locker because we don't have 3rd period together I grab my books walk to the class put em down and go to the cafeteria I spot Gavin at another table I see him sitting beside alli the queen bee the drama queen whatever you wanna call her his arm is around her I speed walk over there with my arms folded over my chest ''Gavin can I speak to you'' I say angrily he looks at me and quickly takes his arm from around alli ''sure'' he gets up telling his ''new friends'' bye we walk out the cafeteria I cross my arms and tap my foot repeatedly
''are you avoiding me'' I say
''no'' I can tell he is lying cause he doesn't look me in the eye
''yes you are I -i thought that kiss meant something'' I say feeling embarrassed for saying it like that ''but obviously It didn't'' I say
''it did I ju-'' he pause
''what? you know what just leave me alone'' I say walking away I feel hands on my waist and turn me around pulling me in a Long sweet kiss I pull away and look at Gavin

''it did mean something'' he says doing it again I wrap my arms around his neck and he pulls me tighter by my waist

''Jocelyn you have company'' my mom called snapping me out of my dream about Gavin I quickly slip on my Pajama pants Cruz I don't sleep with them on and I rushed down stairs forgetting my hair was a mess I see Gavin talking to my mom on the couch
''good morning'' I say combing my hands with my hair
''good morning?" my mom said
''its 2 in the afternoon bae'' Gavin said letting out a little laugh I look at the time on the cable box its 2:17
''anyways I was wondering if you wanted to do something today'' Gavin said
''like what'' I say sitting down next to him as my mom gets up
''well you two have fun and don't do anything you'll regret'' she said grabbing her keys and purse
''MOM'' I yell she just leaves laughing
''excuse my mom she can be a bit weird sometimes, soo where are we going'' I say
''its going to be a surprise just get dressed while I watch some TV'' he said kicking his foot up and turning on the tv I run up the stairs wondering what he had plan I take a quick shower I step out the bathtub and wrapping the towel around me I leave the bathroom and bump into Gavin we both fall on the floor me on top of him
''sorry'' he said staring at me with his mint green eyes I couldn't think of anything else to do or say so I just got up
