(Y/N) and (C/N) we're at an event with a group they were a part of. They didn't talk a lot, but were friends. The event was basically having lunch before doing a volunteer thing. Today the group was raking leaves for people who couldn't. And for free! (Y/N) was sitting next to her two best friends while sitting across from (C/N). (Y/N) has noticed (C/N) has been constantly glancing up at her in between talking to his friends. She decided to bring it up later.
~time skip to raking leaves~
There were a ton of leaves, but there were also a lot of kids. (Y/N) had found a spot that no one else noticed that was covered in leaves, so she decided to work on it until she needed help to bag it all. After a little while, (C/N) peeked around the corner. "Hey! What are you doing all alone over here?" He asked with a smile. (Y/N) was brought out of her trance, "Oh!..uh
I just noticed this area and kinda just went into a trance raking it!.." she laughed. (C/N) raised an eyebrow, "Want some help then, m'am?" He jokingly added the 'm'am' at the end. (Y/N) rolled her eyes with a giggle, "Sure.".
They talked and talked, and no one else seemed to come to help...but neither of them wanted or needed help. Suddenly they heard a voice, it was the lady who's yard they were raking. She had bought donuts for the whole group. (Y/N) looked up at (C/N), "I'll go get us some donuts." She said as she leaned her rake against the fence, but (C/N) grabbed her wrist gently to stop her, "Nah its ok I got it. You just sit tight!" He let go of her and walked away to get the donuts. (Y/N) raised her brow, "ok?.." she preceded to take a seat and smile at herself with a light blush dusted across her cheeks.
(C/N) soon came back with a cinnamon glazed donut and an apple fritter, he held the two out to (Y/N), "Take your pick malady!" He grinned. (Y/N) giggled and chose the apple fritter. (C/N) sat down next to her his arm propping himself up but also behind (Y/N). She noticed. With a half a mouthful of apple fritter, "So, do you think I haven't noticed your arm secretly resting behind me?" She giggled, the food making her look like a squirrel...a cute squirrel. A light red blush appeared across (C/N)'s cheeks, "U-uh, I-I I didn't..." he started to retract his arm but (Y/N) put her hand on his wrist. "It's ok, I- I don't mind." A smile appeared across her slightly pink face. (C/N)'s face turned a darker shade of red. The both of them suddenly realized just how close their faces were. (C/N) (with no food in either of their mouths) leaned in and kissed (Y/N). She widened her eyes in shock, but soon began to kiss back. Her hand reached up to cup his cheek. His hands came down to rest on (Y/N)'s waist. A few seconds later (Y/N) broke the kiss and pulled away gasping for breath. "I- we can't do this here..." (C/N) pulled her forward to rest his head in the crook of her neck. "Where- where can we do this?" She frowned, "You...want to make out with me again?.." (C/N) laughed quietly, "Well, I was the one to start the kiss wasn't I? And I'm pretty sure I liked it." (Y/N) leaned her head on his. "I liked it too. Maybe we could go on a date?..or something? You know we can make out again.." he kissed her neck, "That'll work, malady..." He kissed his way from her neck, to her jaw, and finally landed on her lips. He pulled away after another passionate kiss, "How about Friday? At eight? I'll pick you up of course." (Y/N) leaned for ward just enough so that their noses touched, "Sounds good. And maybe we can have another make out session then?" (C/N) laughed and nodded. They then proceeded to rake leaves.
