Malcolm POV
I've never been this scared in my entire life,what happened to Rose today really scared the hell out of me, after doctor John visited she had refused to get checked saying nothing is wrong with her, but I know more than just believing and I forced Dr John to tell me the problem he had asked for a private talk which we had privately outside the mansion.
Flashback.
" Tell me Dr John is my wife okay ? I aksed , damn don't blame me if I still call her that even if she thinks we are still divorce, she still belong to me and me alone and no one else.
"You see Malcolm,i will just go straight to the point, your wife had a panic attack which means pertaining to stressing and over worry , she's so hyper to some certain things which can lead to this hard struggle to breath , and it shows that it's of stress and anxiety" he said then added " do you think your wife is suffering from any kind of illness? Cause i think this anxiety stuff and stress is too much of thinking and particularly something might not be right with her, at her stage right now she doesn't need anything like bad news or things that can get her hyper active as of now its very dangerous for her, I advise you to get to the bottom of what is bothering your wife because it seems more like a physical problem, maybe being harm by someone or something or maybe in another perspective, she needs to stay away and I mean far away from stress, and the anxiety is the worse of it all" he said and I blinked my eyes looking at him.
Harm? Anxiety? Stress ? Panic attack? What the fuck is all that ? What's wrong with Rose, why does evey Little thing gets her scared and if the doctor says " harm " then who the fuck harmed my wife ?
"is this the first time its happening to her?" he asked and my brain was running in circles, I remembered the day I took Marion from school without her permission, she was really scared what if I hadn't brought Marion back on time that day, she was very scared I've never seen Rose like that before today it happened again when she thought Marion's dog was going to hurt him.
"Dr.John .....this has happened once when i picked my son from school, she had been so scared that day thinking he was kidnapped " i say what i observed .
Dr.John nodded as if thinking " what about before you both were married ?have you seen her act this way ?"he asked.
I thought back to our past , but Rose was less worried or hyper then, she was a calm little thing , she never had such anxiety she never panicked this much.
I shook my head and Dr John place his palm on my shoulder patting it gently.
" Malcolm, you don't need to think too much about it, my advice is try to make her happy and cheer her up, don't get her worried over things that will lead to this , sometimes shock mostly cause this kind of problem, under going something shocking is one thing that can make someone like this , so i don't advise you put too much pressure on her " he said and I nodded weakling.
" Thank you so much Dr John, I really appreciate it"I said .
After escorting him and him getting into his car and drove of i went back inside to see my mother giving Rose water to drink and Marion was playing with his I pad, once my mom saw me she came to me .
" Son, is she okay , what did the doctor say?" She aksed .
I looked at Rose who looked at me back with an eye full of questions
"Mom the doctor said Rose is just stressed out and don't need anything to work her out , " I said a part of the problem not wanting her to know all because I have some personal questions for Rose, she looked away from me .
" Oh i'm so glad it's nothing so serious i was so scared for a second " my mom said going back to Rose.
" Rose my dear please be careful don't stress your self out too much i don't want this to happen again " my mom touched Rose looking at her with so much love I could see how worried she is concerning Rose.
Rose smiled up at her and nodded.
Soon my mother left and i went to the office, yes I haven't asked Rose anything yet about what the doctor said I plan on telling her after I get home .
" Hello Tiara, check if I have any schedule for today " I said into the telephone and hanged up , I really have some work to do really badly in the office.
Just then my office door sprang open and my brother mathew barged in angrily .
" Malcolm what the hell is this ? He yelled flinging some papers at me ,I looked into the paper and dropped it back on my desk as I looked up at him.
" And what does it look like ?" I asked .
" Don't give me that crab Malcolm, how can you hand over the managership to Ryan hookworm, you know so well I've always wanted to be the manager here " he yelled .
Yes I and my brother ain't Really the type of cool brothers you could imagine , right from childhood we've have one issue or the other but that doesn't mean we don't love each other , is just that he's not serious about business so why should I stress myself huh?
"You know the damn reason why I have to give Ryan the managership, your not serious about your life talk more of business, i told you that if you needed the goddamn management then you have to work for it,you have to prove it ,not long after that you blow the Houston's deal which could had lead us to so much income what were you thinking spilling rubbish to them ?" I yelled back getting angry now.
" C'mon Malcolm will you stop painting me blue black? I never blew anything up, the fuckin deal was supposed to be sealed by you but then you were after that pathetic wife of yours" he yelled and this next minute i was up from my chair and i grabbed him at once .
" Shut the fuck up before I do something to you , don't you ever talk like that about my wife or else.....
" Or else what ?...you will fire me from this company, forget it that your my brother or a CEO that won't change the fact that I will do all I can to get the managership, do you hear me Malcolm, because I've never seen a loser like you going after your bitch of an ex wife who cheated on you " He yelled and my blood boiled , i lost it and i punched him so hard on the jaw Making him staggered back .
I grab him and kept punching him.
" Don't you ever call my wife a bitch ever again" I punched him and he try to fight back but before that we were pulled apart.
" What the hell is wrong with you both ?" My dad yelled " you both still think your kids , Malcolm your the CEO for goddammit, how can you fight your kid brother like that ,in the damn company,you have workers around for goodness sake , i thought you better than this Malcolm"Dad scolded as i angrily stare at Matthew who wipe a stain of blood from the side of his lips , I hit my desk so hard .
"Talk to your fuckin son dad, if he's talking about business he should never mention my wife because I will forget he's my brother" I yelled as Matthew and I gave each other a killer look .
" Matthew is it true ? Where you talking about Rose?" Dad asked him angrily.
" I only told him the truth how hell of a bitch she is" he yelled and i charged towards him but dad held me back .
" You fucker...tell him to stop calling her names " I cursed.
"Now your acting like some superhero who wants to fight for your screwed up ex wife?" he mocked laughing and my blood boiled
" Shut your mouth Matthew , you don't talk about your brother's wife like that , you know Rose is innocent" dad said to him
" What difference does it make, she's the reason for the Houston's deal to crumble and he's putting the fuckin blame on me and made Ryan hookworm the manager instead of me, he knew how long I've been asking for this position" he said .
" And i will only give it to you when you learn to be responsible and stop being an ass " I said back at him.
" Just fuck you " he said and left the office, I closed my eyes tightly, God I hate it when ever I fight with my brother like this ? It hurts me because he's my only brother and I love him.
" Son, maybe you should had just giving him the management" my dad said calmly.
" Dad believe me I really want to but his attitude is bad for business,he's always clubbing and dinning with lots of prostitutes , he doesn't even know how this thing's work at the office, just look at it I gave him the Houston's deal to take care of while I go take Rose and my son but he blew it all up, how can I give him such position?" I said and my father nodded understanding me .
"You did the right thing son, you can only give him that right if his proven himself capable " my dad said and I nodded .
After the long day I finally went back home , it's already late and i'm so exhausted, I saw Rose setting food on the dinning table once she saw me we stare into each other's eyes before she cleared her throat.
" Umm,i made a little dinner for you since i know you would be stressed out and need to have something" she said and I could hear the Caring tone , I couldn't help but feel good that she cared for me at least, I nodded and dropped my briefcase then dropped my suit jacket on the couch, I walked to the dinning and sat down , she came to my side and opened the meal and started dishing it into the plate , I couldn't help but look at her .
Well so that you will know, since she came back, this is the first time she's cooking for me, yes we have a maid that comes and cook and go , I don't want to have anyone living in the house with me especially now Rose is back I don't want any complications in my marriage, well at least, she's still my wife .
After she dished the meal she looked at me .
" Water or juice?"She asked Calmly .
" Chilled water " I said and she nodded , the aroma of the food alone is making my mouth water, yes Rose is the best cook aside my mother .
She returned with a glass and a jug then placed it beside me before pouring the content in the glass, I couldn't help but remember how she was serving me once and i pulled her and made crazy love to her on this same Dinning table , fuck old memories are bastards, I can't even do it now because she might slap the hell out of me .
After she was done , I reluctantly took a spoon on the homemade lasagna she made, fuck this food is delicious and she stared at me quietly, I chew it all and cleared my throat.
" It's so tasty" I said and she smiled, then she turned to go.
" Rosé, umm...where is Marion ?, I asked she turned to face me .
" He's in the room probably sleeping now" she answered and i nodded .
She turned to go again.
", Umm..wont you join me? I asked , I really want her with me , I missed how she kisses me each time I get back from work , I really miss her .
" No Malcolm, I already ate with Marion " she said I nodded again and she turned and started leaping away her cut from last night I stopped her again .
", Rose",
She turned to look at me .
"how....is your foot?" i ask looking down at it and she looked down too.
"it is fine " she says .
"you shouldn't be working with your foot like that "i say feeling helpless that she wont let me see it and take care of it.
"don't worry Malcolm , it doesn't hurt that much i can manage " she says and i nodded
She turned to go and i just have to ask her what i really need to know , what the doctor said all rush back into my head and i stopped her again .
"Rose"
She turned to look at me .
" Umm....I want to speak to you, about what the doctor said earlier today " I said and that moment she became tensed up, i saw how she swallowed hard like she wasn't expecting I'd bring it up .
