Born into an accepting family, Laila Kincaid grew up embracing the comfort of her own skin. Her childhood was almost perfect until tragedy struck and reality flooded her senses. She forced herself to grow up and learned about injustices at a young age. Now in college, Laila was determined to bring awareness to problems in her community, but she's not sure if that's what she was destined for.
