Grace rolled her neck and as Layla ran at her, picked her up by her legs and hit a spinebuster, she covered her for the win
"And your winner, via pinfall, Rebel Taylor!" Grace stood up and smiled, raising her hands
She smiled as she looked down at Layla who was sprawled on the ground
She took some breaths as she got to backstage and ran into Randy
"You got back together with John?" Randy asked, looking at her in disbelief
"Yeah, last week," she replied, looking at him with truth in her eyes
"I can't believe you Grace." He said, pushing her shoulder hard with his as he passed her, she rubbed her shoulder and looked after Randy in confusion
She sighed and began unwrapping her wrist tape as she went. Then she felt the most familiar hands on her shoulders and she smiled
"Hi." John said with a smile
"Hi baby," she replied, kissing his temple as she turned her head
"Good job in your match," he told her and kissed her head as he hugged her and she held onto his hands
"I love you so much," John told her
"I love you too Johnny," she replied, kissing John
She made eye contact with Randy as she parted from John, his blue eyes were sad and dropped, he looked like a mess and when he realized her eyes were on him, he abruptly turned off and she sighed, before widely grinning when John resumed his position hugging her close and burying his nose in her shoulder
"I gotta go to my match babe, I'll see you later, love you," John called, walking away after kissing her forehead
"Love you too," she replied, missing the way Randy cringed when she said it
Grace went to her locker-room, changed her clothes and waited for John to finish his match with Randy
The way John's body language showed, was that Randy was actually hurting him
She smiled as he picked up the win and slid on his white shirt then walked backstage holding his arm
"Baby are you okay?" She asked, worriedly looking at John
"My arm," John replied, holding his elbow and cringing
"It swelled up when Randy hit it with the chair." John replied, showing Grace where it swelled
"Let's get you to the trainer's babe," Grace said, holding John's hand and leading him to the trainer's room
Grace bit her lip as she watched the doctor stretch his arm and John winced at the tiniest motion
"You tore your tricep muscle straight off the ligament, you need immediate surgery," he told John and Grace nearly cried as John's jaw dropped
The doctor gave them some time alone and Grace went over and hugged John as he took shaky breaths
"It's gonna be okay, I'm gonna be with you every step of the way," she promised, rubbing his shoulders and damn it! She meant every word.
"I love you so much," John said, with a smile
Grace smiled back sympathetically
"I love you too Johnny," she replied, kissing the top of his head
