Malcolm's POV
I walked back got into my car and drove off straight to the hotel , once I reached my hotel Chris was there in the sitting room , I walked to seat and poured some drink into the second glass cup with him.
I gulped it all , and took another again,i really was heart broken, Rose hate me she hates me so much, I saw the hate in her eyes , all I just want is to make my family whole again, I know I hurt her but I need her back , and for the last 3years and 6 months I've not been my self, I've never been able to move on or forget her and now i see her again with a son , my son my blood , I need her back , I need Rose again , I missed her .
" Mal....were you able to talk to her? " Chris asked , I drank another glass .
" She hates me Chris.... Rose hate me"I tried to be a man and not let my tears drop , I poured another drink again, drinking all in one gulp.
" Drink on mal, you need it , i'm really sorry things are too tough right now between you two, how about Marion, has he found out the truth yet?" He asked , I nodded .
" Did he accept you ? He asked .
" Yes, he was very happy to know i'm his father, i actually cant believe i had a son all this while .....Chris i really want too take them both back to New York , i want to make up for everything I've done to Rose and my son ,i want her to forgive me " I say brokenly .
"Mal man, it's just for some time , just give her some time, i'm sure everything will be fine soon." he said and i nodded , I got up to head up to my room ,I was already feeling dizzy.
" I already spoke to Joe, the jet is ready for tomorrow" Chris said and I gave him a nod before heading to the room , I was already drunk a little actually.
Once I got into my room, I flung myself on the bed and stare up at the ceiling, I couldn't help but remember the past , the very first day i met Rose and fell in love with her.
It was love at first sight for me and i believed that saying in that moment .
Flashback.
" Malcolm, I need you to go with me to the charity Event tomorrow night " my dad Austin said , I was just 22 then and newly into my dad's company.
" Alright dad" I said.
That night ,my mom Hanna, my dad and younger brother Mathew and I went to the charity Event .
And that was when my eyes caught a very beautiful girl, to my surprise dad walked towards her and we followed, she is standing with a man and woman with a guy beside her .
" Mr Parker " my dad greeted the man turned to see us and he instantly was happy to see my dad .
" Austin Rodriguez, i'm so happy to see you it's been a while now " Mr Parker said and my dad smiled , they must be good friends.
" Yes , oh and meet my first son Malcolm and my second son Matthew " my dad introduce.
" Oh of course I remember Malcolm such a handsome little boy back then , now his all grown up ready to make all the women kiss his feet ," he said with a big smile and everyone laughed as he shook my hand and my brothers.
But my eyes was on the beauty standing In front of me beside Mr Austin , our eyes met and she smiled at me little , she's so beautiful .
" how are you Melinda? " my dad greeted the lady which is Mr Parker's wife.
" It's been a while Austin, happy to see you again and also Hanna " she greeted and mom hugged her .
" And who is this Beautiful girl behind you ? My dad asked .
" Oh I want you to meet my sweet little princess Rosevella, she mostly stayed with her aunty In England but now she's back and also my son Raymon " Mr Parker said and Rose greeted us , my mom pulled her into a hug while we handshake Raymon
I couldn't help but stare at her all through, she's so beautiful ,she has that little cute baby face and that lips of hers I'd love to taste , I must say it's love at first sight.
The charity Event went on and she was busy talking to a girl , I Couldn't help but kept glancing at her way , our eyes met few times and she seem shy because she blushed and turned her face away , the girl left and only she sat down I decided to go to her .
Once I reached her she smiled and Started looking around nervously and i know she's trying to avoid my eyes she was kind of blushing.
" Hi , Rosevella right ?"I asked she nodded .
"Rose, just Rose" she says sipping her drink , what a beautiful voice .
" Umm, I hope you don't mind if I seat with you ? I asked .
" N_no" she answered as she looks at me , i took my seat beside hers.
" Umm....you look really beautiful tonight in your dress,i must say " I complimented and she blushed, tugging a strad of her hair behind her ear .
" Thank you " she says quietly that i barely hear and then looked around , I kind of felt she's not comfortable with me .
" Umm, do you mind I have your number so we could be friends if you don't mind ? "I asked she shook her head and I pulled my phone out and gave it to her she input her number and I smiled .
From there on , we became close and I take her out most of the times i'm less busy, she's adorable, beautiful and elegant, I knew that Moment that I've found what I've been looking for , she's a wife material and I need her in my life, but I was going to wait for her , she's 18 and i'm 22, I will wait for her , but at this Moment i wanted us to leave friends Zone so I took the step .
I drove her back from a dinner date one night , and I stare at her as I packed In front of her house , we were still sited in the car and she was playing with her fingers, which indicate she's nervous.
"Rose there's something i want to tell you " I said and she looked at me through her lashes , I gently took her hand in mine and stare into her eyes .
" I don't want us to be friends forever Rose, I know I've not discuss this with you before but ....I have feelings for you, and i want us to make this work and move forward , I am in love with you Rose....i have falling so much in love with you " I confessed.
She bite her lower lip and looked at me from under her lashes .
"Do you feel the same for me?" I asked softly , and she nodded too
" Can I hear you say it?"I asked caressing her cheek.
She looked down at her lap and spoke softly .
" I love you too Malcolm" she merely whispered, Rose is a very shy girl and she hardly talks I smiled .
I lifted her jaw up to look into her eyes , I was so happy.
" Be my girlfriend Rose" I said and she shyly nodded , I moved closer to her and we looked into each other's eyes, and I did what I've been dying to do , I kissed her lips, she shiver at the contact of our lips joining and I moved it against hers, she responded too kissing me back , after some minutes of kissing I perk her lips and she blushed , I kissed the back of her hand.
And told her goodnight, She shyly left my car and I watch her go into the house before I drove off , I was so happy that day that I told my best friend Chris.
After that day, our love grew stronger day by day month by months and years into two years till I took her virginity on her 20th birthday, from that moment we always had sex but we always use protection, after two years of dating I decided to ask her the big question at least we were already 2, years into the relationship and I know she's the only girl for me and I know she's the one, I love her so much and nothing could change it , so I propose to her on her 21 first birthday and she accepted to marry me , our parents were so happy for us and our wedding was a ground one , I so much love Rose with all my heart .
Then after a year of our Marriage, something terrible happened and I got a picture, some love messages and a sex video , of Rose with my worse enemy in the business world , Jackson Erlone , that was when my hope died , and i couldn't believe she Cheated on me with Jackson, in the video they were both having sex , she was the one in the video .
Then I got so furious and two days later I handed her a divorce paper, that was when my marriage crashed .
3 months after I sent her packing, I discovered it was a set up, Rose wasn't the one in the video everything was planned out , someone was trying to destroy my marriage, I got the text messages that Rose was innocent and the sender said he will never allow I or Rose together, because he had always wanted her, that was when I realized someone made the pictures and video up , the person just want to separate us and they succeeded with my stupidity .
I ruined my marriage, but from that moment, I started looking for Rose but couldn't find her, and I swore by the time i get who did this to my marriage, I will make sure the person regret ever Messing with me and my family.
ROSÉ POV
It's been a week since I last saw Malcolm, and Marion kept asking when he will be back , he didn't tell me when he will be back but he did said he will come back so I know Malcolm will come back .
After serving my customers, I went back to the counter , I need to go and pick Marion up from school, I quickly changed into my outfit.
" Rose your off to pick Marion?"Margaret asked and i nodded .
" Alright dear, till tomorrow then " she said and i thanked her .
As I was walking towards the door, my head started pounding and I felt so much pain , I try to hold something to steady my self .
", Rose are you okay? I heard Margaret voice but I couldn't talk, before i could hit the floor i felt someone caught me .
" Put her on the seat", I heard Margaret worried voice.
And i was sited , my head was Pounding so badly and I tried to keep my eyes open.
" Quickly get Me water " she said and soon she was holding the water to my mouth .
" C'mon child drink on, you will be okay, i'm sure your just stressed out, maybe you should take some days off Rose,see the doctor " she said in a worried tone .
" No Margaret, let me do this i'm okay " I Answered after i'm okay again.
" Rose this is new, your not resting that's why your this sick please take some days off my dear" she said and I nodded .
" Thank you Mrs Margaret, I have to go now i'm already late in picking Marion" I said and she nodded .
I hailed a cab and it drove me to the school, oh my gosh ,i'm 20 minutes late already, I walked into the school the family picking their kids were just few but I can't find Janet any where here .
I saw Anita, one of the school teachers, I walked to her .
" Umm excuse me Mrs Elliot" I said she smiled once she saw me . she's married actually.
" Oh your Marion's mother right ?"She asked and i smiled and nodded .
" Yes please, I can't find Janet or Marion please were are they? " i asked .
" Oh my dear, Janet didn't come to school today and also someone has already come to pick Marion up, about an hour and some minutes ago " she said and my eyes widen .
" Wha_what?an hour ... Wh_who? I stammered tears about to spill out .
" A man , and Marion seem to know him " she replied.
My handbag dropped as my hands began to shake .
", No.....why...why didn't ...you stop him ...he's just a kid,why did you...let...my son go...with a stranger? Oh my god" I cried .
Oh my goodness I cant take it if anything happens to my son .
" They both seem to know each other, but i'm sure your son is save " she said i looked at disgusted .
"what kind of school is this, for goodness sake he is a child , i'm the only one who he knows , i'm the only one who picks him how can you even let someone take my child without confirming anything "i yelled tears blinding my eyes .
"i'm so sorry Mrs parker " she says panicking .
"Sorry?" i yelled" if i don't find my son i will sue this school " i yelled
I took my bag and ran out of the school, I couldn't help but cry, my son is missing, someone took my son .... someone took my son.
" MARION" I shouted standing outside the school not knowing where to start looking for him.
Oh God please, please, I want my son, I want my son, my heart beat started beating way faster and i had to place my hand on my chest , i suddenly couldn't breath as i panted heavily , sweat Coting my forehead as i felt the pain over my chest ...where are you Marion , I couldn't help but kept crying, I stood outside the school not knowing were to go, I was helpless.
"Marion " i whisper.
"Mommy "
I heard Marion's Voice from behind and i instantly turned my son was standing right there smiling at me happily holding a big ice in his hold , but he wasn't alone.
