Time is the only thing on my side and im willing to stand my ground
Time will tell me if its safe to come out my shell
im not the type to follow every good smell
or the type to stare at everything tht shines
or the type to overlook what i have for something thts not mine
i take pride in my decisions
time taught me to
i took the poison out of my pain and learned to trust my feelings
im not the type to use love as a weapon for selfish killings
but the type to use love so tht in time it completes the healing
i see love as a Power tht only time will teach u to harness
Yet a power tht can build or destroy...
time has yet to teach me how to build a defense for an attack to the heart
...however , im willing to let love kill me.
i understand tht things change over time but if a house is built on the right foundation
U will never find that house out of place
There are people with ill intentions but im not amongst them
time taught me to waste no ones time
and in time , ill find someone worth wasting time with
ik its close but i just need more time.
more time to find a woman who'll be mine and thats like minded

7 years later i find my whereabouts
some where so cozy i keep losing site of reality
a warmth soo comfy it burns
like an addict im addicted to ur presence
i guess im spoiled when it comes to receiving gifts
Yet heres a gift
tht formed as a myth
because no one ever had the patience to receive it
Baby i want u to believe me i pray u feel the realness in what ur receiving
U see , time is my best friend but we used to not get along
because when ever time and i compromised
patients came along
and things got hard
telling my im not strong enough and my desires are not tall enough
i hate patience ~
no wait ,
i have patience right where i want him
i'll show patient what time showed me
that anything worth having is worth waiting for
and anything worth waiting for is worth having
The next task is to keep holding on for the ride and remembering Y I got on this ride to begin with
with time on my side , and patience as the competitor
tht must leave love as the prize
and thts when i'll rise
and time will continue to teach me lessons...
Today patience sat me down for a trus
affirming me how close i was in my pursuit
confirming he wld no longer be in the way
with tht in mind , i sit and think on the lessons i will learn in time..
the new challenges with patience on my side
maybe time will be jealous of my relationship with patients and form against me?
or maybe time is telling me tht im my only true enemy?
what ive realized with my time with Her
is tht there is nothing tht time cld do
when ive patients and ive a gift in u
its makes the present more enjoyable...
Times final lessons for me
Find someone who challenges these gifts in me
a challenge tht hurts and yet, still healthy
the fight thts strengthens the spirit and mind
Time says the lesson is to find someone
that will spend time , until the end of time
