Grace grunted as her body hit the mat as she faced Melina. She took a breath as she sat up using her elbow and she shook off the cobwebs and got back up
She ducked a hand from Melina and turned around to kick Melina when she got hit with a microphone on her temple and she fell, holding her head as she began seeing stars, she closed her eyes and coughed slightly
She heard the bell ring before John's theme song started playing and he came running down the ramp as the attacker got off of Melina and ran through the audience
"Grace, can you hear me?" John asked, worriedly looking at her
She squinted and took a deep breath and her eyes focused
"Yeah, I'm good," she admitted as she focused on his face
"C'mon babe," he called, helping her up and wrapping her arm around his neck as he helped her
She got backstage and John let go of her to see if she could stand on her own and when she could, he told her he needed to get ready for his match. She smiled and nodded, giving him a kiss before he smiled at her
"Love you," he called as he turned to walk off
"Love you too," she replied, rubbing her head as she sat on a crate and read through her new script and as she reached the attack scene and her eyes widened and then her eyebrows furrowed
"What the fuck is this?" She muttered
"Oh hey Gray," Natalya called out as she saw her long time friend, sitting near the guerrilla
"Hey Nattie, did you see my new angle?" She asked
Nattie nodded
"Yeah, some Ashley girl is gonna beat you in a feud and get the Championship in the fatal four way," Nattie replied
"This is bullshit Nat!" Grace exclaimed and Nattie nodded
"I know babe, I gotta go, I'll catch up later," Nat said, walking away
Grace gritted her teeth and got up, marching to the Talent Relations Officer, Mark
"What the hell is this Mark?" She asked, holding up the script
"What's wrong Grace?" Mark asked
"I just read your new script, why the hell is some no name who didn't even go through developmental getting the Women's championship?" Grace asked, with smoke damn near flowing through her nose
"Grace just calm down," Mark pleaded
"Calm down?! You want me to calm down when you're pushing the women's division down the damn drain?" Grace asked
"There's so many hardworking, capable women other than me that deserves that title, Trish, Beth, Melina, Mickie, and you give it to that no name runway knockout?" Grace asked, upset as possible
Grace then breathed and sat down
"Look Mark, the decision is not final, if Stephanie hears about this, she's not gonna be happy. So please reconsider," Grace asked, holding her throbbing head
"We'll look into it Grace," he said and Grace nodded walking out, promising herself to speak to Stephanie. She couldn't allow some model wannabe who doesn't know shit about wrestling to come into the division and take chances that these women deserved and make a mockery of the division, she'd die before she allowed that to happen
