•Y/n's POV•

I went over to my old house on Christmas Eve, and stayed the night there. On Christmas day, I was awoken to somebody violently shaking my shoulders. I didn't even have to open my eyes to know that it was Tyler. I heard his soft voice repeatedly shout, "It's Christmas! Wake up!"

My eyes slowly fluttered open, and the first thing I saw was Tyler's face hovering over me. I lazily pushed him over, causing him to fall to the floor.

"Hey!" He exclaimed dramatically, and I looked over the side of the bed, watching him stand up from the ground. He grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the covers, making me stumble onto the cold hardwood floor.

"Alright, I'm up," I said, tiredly standing up.

"Let me change," I told him, and I pushed him out of my room and closed the door.

I put on warm clothes since the temperature was freezing outside, and then walked out of my room and rushed down the stairs. Although I didn't want to get out of bed, I was still extremely excited that it was Christmas.

I quickly ran to the Christmas tree, searching through all of the different gifts to find Tyler's. I eventually found his present, and picked it up and ran over to Tyler, who was sitting on the couch with his head lowered to his phone screen.

"Here!" I smiled, practically shoving it in Tyler's face. He ripped the paper as I took a seat next to him.

I didn't get him anything extremely special. It was just clothing, like skinny jeans and long sleeved shirts. There wasn't much that Tyler wanted, so it was really all I could get him.

He seemed to be happy with it though, because as he pulled out each piece of clothing from the box, he smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Just make sure they all fit you," I told him, and then he began to pull the bottom of his shirt up.

"I don't mean now," I laughed, pulling his shirt back down. He smiled, then took my hand and pulled me up off of the couch.

"I have something for you too," he stated while leading me to the front door. He opened the door, the cool air immediately blowing in our faces. Tyler quickly shut the door behind him, and began running to his house. Since he was holding my hand, I tried my best to keep up with him.

He then walked inside of his house, and even though we were only outside for a few seconds, I was still pretty cold. He walked over to his Christmas tree, picking up a card that was lying on the floor. He handed it to me, a big smile playing on his face. He seemed really excited as I opened it, and I wondered what could possibly be in it that had him so exhilarated.

I noticed that there wasn't even an actual Christmas card inside, just a tiny folded piece of blank paper. I pulled it out of the envelope, and unfolded it, noticing how something had been written in Tyler's smallish handwriting.

We're going to Disney, it said, with a small heart written next to it. My eyes immediately widened, and I squealed as I jumped up and down.

"Are you serious Tyler?" I asked, hoping this wasn't some sort of cruel joke he was pulling on me.

"Promise," Tyler responded, a proud smile on his face. Without any notice, I quickly wrapped my arms around his body, hugging him tightly. Tyler stumbled back a bit, but he wrapped his arms around me too.

"Thank you," I mumbled against his chest, slowly pulling away with a big smile.

"No problem buttercup," he giggled, probably because of how excited I was.

"So... when are we going?" I asked him, curious to know what the plan was.

"We're leaving tomorrow. Coming back the day after New Year's," he responded, and I nodded.

"I love you," I told him, leaning up on my tip-toes to press a kiss to his lips. "More than anyone."

"I love you more," he smiled, leaning down to kiss me again.

After our families had both eaten dinner together, there wasn't very much to do. They were all conversing with each other, but Tyler and I got bored so we walked upstairs to his room.

Tyler was lying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, thinking to himself. I was sitting on the floor, leaning against his bed.

"I have an idea," Tyler finally said, sitting up on his bed and looking down at me. I rose an eyebrow as I stared at him.

"We should make a fort," he suggested, standing up from his bed.

"Why?" I asked. I wasn't against helping him, though. I was totally down to make a fort.

"I don't know," he shrugged. "It'll be fun."

"Alright," I said, satisfied with his simple answer.

He walked over to his closet, pulling out any blankets and pillows that he could find. He set them all down on his bed, took a step back, and looked over to me.

"Okay, let's start," he smiled, picking up a blanket.

After we had set up the many pillows and had a few tiny arguments on where some of the blankets should go, we eventually finished. It actually didn't end up terrible.

We both crawled under, and then sat next to each other, the gray blanket hovering above our heads causing it to seem a bit darker. He grabbed the remote that was on the floor next to him and turned the TV on so we had some sort of noise in the background.

"I think we did a good job," Tyler breathed, looking around at the many blankets surrounding us. His eyes finally stopped scanning the room, and he was looking at me now.

We just ended up staring at each other, and my eyes seemed to be captivated by his. His eyes were definitely pretty. The perfect shade of brown, and how they held everything that he was feeling. Whenever he smiled, his eyes sparkled, somehow managing to make everything seem perfect.

I noticed that his eyes moved down towards my neck, and his hand reached forward, lightly picking up the silver chain that was around my neck. It was the necklace he had gotten me a few years ago for Christmas. It had my name on it.

"You still have this?" He asked, moving his hands back and looking back up towards me.

"Yeah," I replied. "I just haven't worn it in a while because I wasn't sure where I left it. I finally found it the other day," I told him.

"It looks pretty on you," he complemented, causing my cheeks to turn pink.

"Thanks," I mumbled quietly, suddenly acting shy. He smiled, knowing very well that I wasn't good with complements. That never stopped him from giving them to me though.

The room was still a bit cold, so I stuck my hands into the pocket of my hoodie. My hand touched something, and I immediately realized what it was. It was the old polaroid that Tyler took when we were teenagers. I put it in my pocket because wanted to show it to him again, but I had forgotten to earlier. I decided that now was probably the best time. I slowly pulled it out, smiling as I looked at it.

"Is that what I think it is?" Tyler asked, leaning over to look at the picture I was holding between my fingers. I nodded and handed it to him. He took the small picture from my hands and placed it in his own, and studied it.

"You actually kept it," he said, the sound of disbelief in his voice.

"Of course," I responded, smiling. "I want you to have a turn with it now."

"I promise I won't lose it," he remarked, placing it in front of him on the hardwood floor.

He quietly looked up to me, our eyes meeting once again. His lips curved into a smile as he slowly began to lean in, his face getting closer to mine within seconds. His hand cupped my cheek, and his lips were soon placed against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and his other arm was on my waist, pulling me closer.

I eventually ended up sitting on his lap, my legs tangled between his, as he kissed me slowly, but passionately. It was like we were the only two people in the world, and nothing else mattered. Just me and him. Together.

He opened his mouth slightly, deepening the kiss as his hand on my waist brought me closer, pressing my body against his. I felt him smile against my lips, causing me to pull away and giggle to myself.

He only stared at me with the same smile that melted my heart, and brought a hand to my hair, stroking it gently.

"You're perfect," he whispered, almost inaudibly, but I heard him anyway.
