I sat in silence, the haunting toon of the melody playing through my mind. Who was that? Who?
A scream ripped through the silence. I got to my feet and looked around. It sounded like...
"Blossom!" I shout and run towards the boise. I follow it to a part in the clearing and I see her. She's backed up against a tree, her hands towards the beast. It gives a growl and charges forward. As it does so she pushes her hands forward and a blast of flame wraps around the wolf. It whimpers and she blasts it again.
The wolf falls over and Blossom falls to her knees, a red light pulsing around her. Suddenly a boy I hadn't noticed before picked her up and held her to his chest. She murmured something that I could just catch in the breeze. Brick.
The boy looks around and then runs the opposite direction through the woods. I puff out a breath of held air and run after them.
Man he was fast. It took all my energy to keep up with him. He finally reached a cabin and disappeared through the door. I come to the cabin and look through the window. I see the boy place blossom on a couch and wrap her in a blanket. He removes his hood and I gasp in surprise.
He looked exactly like me with dark orange hair that dropped in his red eyes. I felt my fists clench and he kissed Blossom on her forehead, then disappears through a door. I would usually be pissed, but for some reason I don't think this guy had a thing for Blossom. It was as if I knew him, but from where?
I shake my head and I hear footsteps as I see him come from the back of the cabin and dash through the woods. I look back at the window and smile.
"I'll e there for you, Blossom," I promise and walk away.
